The book for everyone who still believes in the real love or wants to get the hope back.

Throughout the book, we are following a married couple that currently has big problems in their marriage. Not only that their marriage has been determined; they are also expecting a baby, they have a guest that wants to do everything to ruin their marriage and get together with Samantha and her momma is totally against their marriage. Will they fight for their love or rather give it up?

As much as there were parts where I was annoyed with how characters were acting, I really liked this book. It has showed me that it is worth fighting for your love and for the one you really love. No matter who is against it. And that love doesn’t care about how much money one has. What’s more important is love and how much you care about each other. What’s important is to be there for each other. A lot of people forget it, especially in today’s world when almost everything is about money. Where people think that if you have enough money, you have it all. Which is not true! Yeah, maybe you can get a lot of things with money but that doesn’t mean that it will buy you real love. It won’t buy a person. Okay, maybe some will fall for money but in my personal opinion, it is not real love. It is love for money.

Remember to fight for real love and for what’s important; don’t fight for money and because of money. If you fight for what’s important, there will always be Mirabella to help you even if you don’t believe in her.

There is a lot of humor in this book, I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times. It takes you on a roller coaster of emotions as the story progresses overtime. This book was very well written and really grabs your attention from the very beginning. This was my first opportunity to read from this author and it won't be the last.

When high society bride, Samantha Carroll, devises an ingenious plan to ditch her meddling matchmaking mamma’s groom of choice, the banker’s son, instead of the ordinary Irish guy Johnny Belen she’s pining for, all pandemonium breaks loose. In the meantime, Johnny has devised his own plan to thwart monster-mamma-in-law’s matchmaking for the wedding of the season, but it is soon clear that Sam is not the type of girl who can be scooped up by just any man.
This was an ok read. I’ve read books with similar plots before. Samantha was just OK. I don’t think I’ll be reading this author again.

I spent the first few chapters of A Match Made in Heaven? feeling increasingly confused and unsure as to what exactly was going on. Then I decided to stop taking it so seriously and to treat it as the fun read I think it is meant to be and I began to enjoy it more. It is very much a will they, won't they set up with Samantha and Johnny both in a state of misunderstanding as to what the other is feeling. Both are unsure and feel that they have to set the other up to find out if they are loved for themselves. The attraction between them is undeniable but in their way seem to be a few obstacles in the form of Sam's Mother and the slick Michael. There is more than one sting going on here.

Added to the contemporary romance which dominates the story is a quirky, whimsical fantasy strand of the mysterious Mirabella. It made sense of the title for me and I decided to go along with it and suspend disbelief. After the initial few chapters, the plot moves along at a pace and there is plenty of humour for me in Johnny's reactions to his perceived rival.

In short: A fun contemporary romantic comedy.

I thought the premise was cute but I had a hard time finding anyone in this book likable.

Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

A Match Made in Heaven is a light sweet romance. This is my first Sun Chara but I have the feeling I will be adding this author to my watch list for easy gentle reads. I really appreciated the even pacing and the nice balance between character, romance and story. The characters are layered and engaging, written with humor, both the primary and secondary characters. The settings are charming and beautifully drawn. I'm not sure if this book is part of a series, but I would like to read more from this setting.

This is one of my very rare one star reads. Usually with books I didn't like or care for, I can at least come up with a few positives with the book to give it 2 stars. Sadly, I just couldn't find any positives with this book. The writing, dialogue and plot was disjointed and confusing. There were spots were clinically I looked at the situation and thought "I think this is supposed to be one of the funny parts" but I did not find it humourous (and I LOVE funny books). The characters were all unlikable, and the plot and conflict was ridiculous and completely unrealistic. The ending was mediocre. Honestly, the best part of the book was the cover. Overall, I was greatly disappointed and frustrated with this story. *I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and this is my voluntary and honest review.

3☆ A Humorous Rom Com

I was very excited when I found out Sun had written a Rom Com.
I usually read her Contemporary Romance books so I was looking forward to reading something a little different from Sun.

I just want to also point out just how fab the cover is, the wedding dress and wellies made me giggle!

What I will say is Sun certainly had me laughing out loud throughout the story.
Which I adore in books.
Laughter and humour is never easy to get just right in books, but Sun done a fab job.

Samantha and Johnny are married.
There relationship is almost a marriage of convenience as they Wed to stop Samantha's irritating mother from interfering in her life and relationships.
Her mother wanted her to marry a different man.

The characters were not particularly likeable, especially Samantha she grated on me a little but I think her character wasn't meant to be likeable. Especially as her mother tries to rule her somewhat.

I enjoyed reading A Match Made in Heaven? the writing is a little disjointed at times, but stick with it as there is plenty of humour, and a few twists.
It's a pacy read that is a fairly action packed which I love but if it had been a tad less then I think it would if enriched the story and maybe i would of related to the characters more.

Overall I'm very glad I got to read Sun's newest book. I always find it interesting when authors write different genres.
I'm looking forward to reading Sun's next book!
I would recommend reading A Match Made In Heaven? If you enjoy Rom Com's with plenty of humour.

Thank you to Random Things Tours for this copy which I reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

A Match Made in Heaven is such a sweet and cute novel with an angel sent to help along a couple in marriage trouble complicated by meddling outsiders.
Pregnant Samantha and her husband, Johnny, receive notice that they aren’t really legally married. Coupled with their personal dilemmas, Sam tries to run off but Johnny follows her and coaxes her to stay in a rundown house attached to a kennel he owns. Their doubts about each other’s marriage motives are about to drive them far apart but an angel, Mirabella, intercedes at opportune times to spur them back toward each other.

3.5 STARS

I knew from reading the synopsis that this book would be quite a ride, and I was right! The action begins from the very beginning.

I have to say I was confused in the beginning, but as the story progressed, everything started to fall into place. Samantha and Johnny are complete opposites. Samantha is a wealthy socialite who enjoyed all the things her life afforded her, but she realizes it has its downsides...your mother choosing a groom you have no feelings for. Johnny is from the working class. While Sam was enjoying being a socialite, Johnny was looking for a job while trying to finish a business degree. So, you may ask how these two even crossed paths...that would be where divine intervention by angels enter the story in the form of Mirabella...an angel. This couple definitely won’t make it easier for her.

The characters were quirky, but I have to say my favorite was Johnny. He has a wonderful heart, and he is patient. If I were him, I would have dropped Sam long ago. She wasn’t always my favorite character, but through Johnny I came to like her. Even the secondary characters were quite involved in driving the action. Speaking of action, there was plenty of it. At times, I wasn’t sure how it all connected, but the author did tie it all together in the end.

This was a different kind of romance, but I liked it. It was filled with some swoonworthy moments, romance, laughter, and the meaning of family. I was glad to see Mirabella’s job might not be done. She may very well have another fiesty couple she will have to bring together.

Samantha Carroll is used to riches bit can she handle not having them? Can Samantha really have everything her heart desires?

Johnny Belen interrupted the wedding of Samantha and William Scott and he isn't sure he can ever make Samantha as happy as she deserves.

With a baby on the way and 2 years of marriage, there is a shock in the form of a letter and things start to unravel. Samantha leaves to be with her mother. Johnny has to decide if what he wants and does can match up because he keeps disappointing and upsetting Samantha in her pregnant state.

When reading this book, it was quite a roller coaster ride of events that sent me laughing one moment, crying another and disgusted and surprised at other times. This book was well written with great characters and an intense plot. I gave an honest review in exchange for ARC of this novel. It was good!

Sun Chara simply cannot write fast enough for me and she is back with a sparkling, uplifting and terrific romantic read that will effortlessly lift any end of summertime blues: A Match Made in Heaven?

Appearances are absolutely everything for the Carroll family and nobody knows this more than Samantha. Sam’s mother had drummed into her the importance of looking like a million dollars and how paramount it is never to put a foot wrong in high society for the consequences do not even bear thinking about! However, there comes a time in every woman’s life where she begins to chafe at the conventions imposed upon her by her meddling family – something which Sam knows only to well! With her interfering mama having already decided that her daughter is going to have the wedding of the year people will remember for centuries, Sam’s mother has already found the perfect groom for her daughter – it’s just a shame that Samantha has already found the man for her and rather than the perfect banker’s son with all the right credentials, she has fallen head over heels in love with an ordinary Irish guy who makes her heart sing: Johnny Belen…

Johnny might not exactly be the high society groom her mother was hoping for, but he is the guy Sam wants to spend the rest of her life with. Whilst her mum will brook no argument and will keep insisting that Sam marry somebody of the right class who has the right breeding, Sam won’t be deterred, which is why she hatches a plan alongside Johnny to thwart her plans and ensure that her mother does not jeopardise their future with her interfering ways. However, the path to happy ever after is fraught with its own difficulties and challenges as Sam and Johnny quickly discover…

Will happiness be within Johnny and Sam’s grasp? Or will Sam’s matchmaking mama succeed in driving a wedge between them?

Sun Chara has done it again and penned an irresistible read that kept me gripped from beginning to end! A Match Made in Heaven? is a terrific read that sparkles with high society hi-jinks, powerful romance and nail-biting emotional drama. Johnny and Sam are terrific characters that jump out of the pages and will steal your heart with their enthralling, hilarious and compelling love story.

A terrific romantic read from an outstanding writer, A Match Made in Heaven? is another unmissable read from the fabulous Sun Chara!

Now come on who doesn’t love a book cover with some pink wellies on! I am sold! Given that and the blurb of the book, you are onto a winner.

Sam, aka Samantha, comes from a family where appearances mean everything, and she is everything destined to marry Michael Scott.

Johnny comes from a family with little to no money, but he has a huge heart and is willing to go to lengths to show Sam how much he loves her. Plus, it helps that Sam is just crazy about Johnny.

Some people will just do about anything to get out of marrying someone, and then here comes the opening chapter, it is chaotic and so funny, to say the least, but Sam and Johnny get married…. or so they think!

I have seen a few grumbles about the prologue of the book, but like with any book, the prologue is just a teaser to the book, to get you gripped and this one is the exact same…and when you find out what the prologue is about well it just wet my appetite for more! It made for a great twist in a modern love story.

With this book, you need to leave your inhibitions at the door and go with the flow, this is a book where you need to persevere and not give up. There were secrets kept by both parties and most of the time I wanted to hit their heads together, so much drama, no need, why do it to yourself! But it gets the flow of the book going and adds to the humour of the book as I found myself chuckling out loud a few times!! Plus, who can turn their nose up at a bit of divine intervention?

I was drawn to this book by the chaotic blurb. It sounded like a romantic farce and something I would very much enjoy.

Sadly, I was disappointed almost from the outset. I'm not even sure that the story I read matched the blurb.

The writing style did not appeal to me, and I didn't find it an easy read. Several times I didn't understand who was speaking or what was going on, and I question the plausibility of some of the action, such as how Johnny came into the $5 million, and why on earth he'd allow Michael to work for him, let alone live in Sam and Johnny's own home, given their history.

Heaven-sent Mirabella is introduced in the Prologue and is immediately likeable, but I would have liked to have seen her character fleshed out a bit more during the rest of the story.

I also questioned the idea that Sam and Johnny had been married for two years, were all loved-up in that time, and with the arrival of unexpected news, were suddenly unable to talk to each other. They do, however, overly share their doubts and fears with the reader, and I longed to get past this to find out what it was all about.

This one just wasn't for me, I'm afraid.

This was a contemporary romance with some divine intervention... Samantha and Johnny get married in order to stop Samantha‘s mothers meddling.... but could this couple‘s marriage of convenience turn into their happily ever after?

There is a lot of humor in this book, I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times... Samantha really was not the most likable characters, in fact I’m not sure if she deserved Johnny... The two of them were quite frustrating throughout most of the book their inability to communicate with each other and the secrets they kept from one another were somewhat mind-boggling.... admittedly the flow to this book was sometimes a bit disjointed, but the humor even that out... I just kind of had to “go with the flow!“

A fun romance with a bit of a different twist....

For some, it’s all about the money. For others, it’s all about love.

The prologue had me totally confused. It had read it twice and even then I did not have a clue what is was about. It intrigued me, but I am not very patient. I wanted to get it straight away. That meant only one thing : get cosy on the sofa and full speed ahead.

The first chapter did not make me any wiser. On the contrary, but I don’t give up easily. Little by little, I was rewarded for my persistence. The author took me back to the past and the mist was lifted.

I am sorry, Samantha, but you did not win my prize of the most likeable character. All the brownie points went to Johnny. I really could not agree with what you put him through. It seems you might need a little help on your way to your happy ever after.

Sometimes people talk a lot, but never use the correct words.

In the end, all’s well that ends well and the universe always settles the score.

A story with a mixture of romance, frustration and humour. 3 stars.

Thank you, Sun Chara, Harperimpulse and RachelsRandomResources.

This is a fun contemporary romance with an angelic twist! Having a meddling mother means Samantha Carroll is used to stubbornly fighting her own corner, however sometimes others add to the drama - like Michael, the man her mother wants her to marry. As the synopsis indicates there are three distinct phases to this story - the wedding, the break up and the reconciliation. To make sure everything works out well in the end a little divine intervention is called for . . . .

This is a dramatic, story involving two sweethearts whose romance is endangered by secrets, surprises, successful gamblers, dogs, bank robbers, family and a baby on the way! It is a quick paced, fun read and I really hope it will be the start of a new series!

I was gifted a copy of this book without obligation and chose to read and this is my honest review after doing so.

This is my first book of Sun Chara's, although I will be reading/reviewing other book of hers in the future. From the cover, to the title and to the blurb... it all was different it made me curious.

"A Match Made in Heaven?" was different from the usual books that have the marriage kind of theme. It started with craziness, but it was the rollercoaster of emotions and moments that made it a funny story to read.

There are some secrets that kept me on my toes, not knowing when the characters would finally come clean about that to each other. That plus the humor, made the story enjoyable to read.

It had a quick pace over all, and the flow was crazy, a bit like the characters at some point, but I honestly didn't mind it that much, because the plot twist and the humor and romance moments made everything better.

Samantha and Johnny were unexpected characters to me. I thought I knew what the book would be about and they completely changed my mind and that unexpectedness was fun and made the story unique. There were weird moments for me but I would laugh it all in the end.

Overall, although I didn't love it, I liked it and enjoyed it. It made me laugh for good reasons, so that's a plus in my list.
