My first book from this author and I really enjoyed it. It kept me on the edge of my seat, wanting to know more, what’s next. I will definitely look to more of this author again!

I found this book very hard to get along with, constantly picking it up and putting it down, like some other reviewers did. Not a bad storyline or concept but I just needed it at a faster pace

Unfortunately this book was not for me, it was a bit slower than I would like and it just didn't hold my attention. I am sure other people will love it!

Thank you to netgally and the publisher for sending me a copy of this book fire review.

Laura Marshall is becoming one of my favourite thriller writers and I have read two of her books now and both has had me on the edge of my seat and completely drawn in.

I don't want to tell you much about the plot of this book as sometimes with thrillers it's best to go in blind to get the best experience from them I will say though rape is the main focus in this book so be careful if thst is a trigger for you.

I did kinda figure out a plot twist in this book but still enjoyed the ride of it. I think this is a good book to start with if you want to read a thriller without murder being the main plot. Can't wait for this authors next book.

I absolutely loved Friend Request this authors previous book, so I was very excited to read this one. Well it sure didn’t disappoint, I loved it. A brilliant suspense thriller with lots of not very nice characters.

Having previously read Laura Marshalls book friend request, which I thought was great. I decided to read this one as well.
In places it is a bit strange and you start to wonder what an earth is going on. It does flip between characters and time lines but mostly stay with Ellen.
This book is very well thought out an written but it lacked that crucial punch for me.

In 2005 shy and introverted 17 year old Ellen is in desperate need of a good friend. Enter Sasha - a beautiful and confident girl who quickly befriends Ellen who is soon embraced into Sasha's somewhat unconventional family life. There is an incident one night at a party the girls attend which results in Ellen testifying in a dramatic court case. 13 years later and the girls remain firm friends who share a home together in London. Sasha is very much a free spirit who comes and goes as she pleases but on one of the occasions it becomes clear to Ellen that Sasha has gone missing and that her absence seems to relate to the incident at the party all those years ago. As the police seem unconvinced that Sasha is at risk, Ellen decides to investigate her disappearance herself and it is not long before Ellen herself is in danger.
This was a really good read from an author that I have read and enjoyed before. It is full of tension, twists and great characters and I flew through it in no time.
I will be looking forward to the next book from Laura Marshall - a great thriller and 4 starts from me.
Thanks to Netgalley UK and publishers for the ARC.

Three Little Lies is the second book by Laura Marshall and as a fan of Friend Request I was delighted to read it. Another addictive and authentic storyline by Laura and highly recommended.

A compelling tale from the point of view of various people going backwards and forwards in time yet there is never any confusion regarding who is who as sometimes happens in stories like this.
Three quarters of the way through I thought I knew just what had happened - but did I? I found all the characters interesting although not all likeable and raced through this book to find out what really did happen at that New Year's Eve party all those years ago.

Having really enjoyed Laura Marshall’s other book, Friend Request I was really looking forward to this book!!

We start this amazing story with Olivia who is attending her son Daniel’s trial - for rape!! Olivia finds it hard to believe that her gentle musically talented son could be accused of such a heinous act.

The story then goes back 10 years. A new family is moving in and Ellen is drawn to teenager Sasha and her glamorous family, who she prefers to spend time with ,rather than her own family. Something bad happens at a party which is linked to Sasha’s disappearance and may put Ellie’s life at risk!!

I was so engrossed in this amazing thriller, full of twists and red herrings strewn along the way.

Definitely a must read. 10 out of 10.

I was so excited to finally read Laura Marshall's new book, I loved Friend request so much and I was not disappointed. The book follows a girl called Ellen who finds her friend missing when she decided to leave work early one day and starts to worry when no one has seen her. But upon trying to find out what has happened to Sasha, Ellen has to dig up some stuff from the past and speak to people she has not spoken to for ten years !! who can she trust and what really did happen ten years ago. This book jumps between the present and time in the past. Three Little Lies is a great story filled with lots of twists and turns with a great ending as always. Already looking forward to the next book by Laura Marshall just hoping I don't have to wait too long!

Thank you Netgalley for my copy of Three Little Lies by Laura Marshall.
I enjoyed Friend Request so much I could wait to read this one. This book is a psychological thriller following the lives of three friends that starts back in 2005. Ellen is our main character is best friends with Karina. A new girl called Sasha moves into a house on the same street, Ellen and Marina are instantly drawn to her seemingly glamorous and excessive lifestyle. We learn that Sasha is living with let's call them her God parents The Monktons and their two biological sons. We then move to 2017 where by now Ellen and Sasha are sharing a flat in London but one night Sasha disappears without a trace. Sashes is quite a flaky character often staying away from the flat however she would always call or text Ellen to say she was safe and when she'd be home. Ellen is frantic with worry when she doesn't hear anything and embarks on a desperate search to find her friend, but as soon as she starts to dig she herself starts to question whether she really knew her friend at all. Ellen uncovers secrets and s from the past which make her question everything! Whilst I really love the book I didn't really like the character of Ellen, I found to be a bit wishy washy and naive. It was as though Sasha could do no wrong, it was the kind of friendship where Ellen put Sasha on a pedestal. So the mystery begins, where is Sasha? Has someone hurt her? Is that same person out to hurt Ellen? Whilst reading book there is an ever present feeling of menace and I think the author has done a great job of keeping that feeling going. There were a few parts in the story where I have to admit I found myself holding my breath in anticipation of what was going to happen next. This is a compulsive read that asks the question - Will we ever see Sasha again? 5 stars from me.

Friend, Request was such a binge-fest read so I was looking forward to Three Little Lies.
This opens with Olivia who sits in court as her son, Daniel, is about to be tried for a rape trial. Cut 10 years later and we meet Ellen, in her late twenties, whose best friend Sasha has gone missing. Could her friend’s disappearance be linked to the rape trial of Daniel who was found guilty and has been recently released? As the story develops with flashbacks to the past we learn the girls may have told a lie.
This was a fast paced read flicking between between POVs and past and present with break-neck tension. I did, personally see the twists and reveals coming, but other than that this was a quick binge-worthy read. 3.5/5

This is a modern thriller. It's ok and I did manage to finish it. However there are better books out there to enjoy.

This was an ok read, however I felt it was a rushed ending, and the characters were not at all sympathy or empathy inducing
