A really fun and easy read. Just what you need in the dark winter months. This is a great book to read on a beach.

Lovely.
Thanks to Netgalley and Luzzie Lovell for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I loved this book and not just because of the gin! I found that the relationships between the different generations were beautifully written and truly reflected how complex they can be and the different directions you can be pulled in when you wear so many different hats as a Mum, daughter, friend etc. It made me giggle a lot, on occasion have a bit of tearful moment and I couldn't put it down. I would enthusiastically recommend it to gin drinkers and non-drinkers alike!

Completely not my type of read normally and I only selected it because of the fab title and my love of Gin! However I LOVED this book! Funny with great characters and a real sense of community. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

A lovely quick easy read. I really enjoyed the author's writing style which flowed perfectly and kept me interested throughout.

This is a feel-good story which is amusing in places but sad in others. I loved the characters and the feel of the small Devon seaside community and really wanted the best for Jen and the villagers.

A perfect light summer read best enjoyed with a gin and tonic.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Jen is going through a hard time, her children have left home and her husband has dumped her for another woman and to add insult to injury an ex is trying to lose her her job at the museum by selling the building! Determined not to give up without a fight the villagers are roused to try and save the building but will they succeed and will Tom end up as more than just a fellow campaigner?

A lovely book with great characters that you fall in love with, perfect light summer read and all with a gin and tonic!

I really enjoyed this. Full of laughs, showing how a discarded wife can rebuild her life involving all her work colleagues from the closing museum, her friends and family, in starting a gin bar in order to save the museum. Brilliantly written, I couldn't put the book down.

Thanks Netgalley and the Publisher. I loved this book so much. It's definitely a good book for taking on holiday or as a summer read. Jen didn't see this happening but her husband has left her for another woman. Great read

Enjoyable read set in a small town in Devon.
Jennifer's daughter has left for uni, leaving her with an empty nest - well apart from her eccentric father and Bob the dog.
All is set to change when the museum she works out is closed down - so along with her friends hatch a plan to buy the building and keep the museum open. And to try and make the museum more profitable, open a gin bar in the building too. Along the way she meets widower Tom - they are drawn to each other but can he move on from his wife's death?

I had high hope for this book, and it started very well but quite quickly I found myself thinking that I was a little bored. But I kept reading it hoping that it will get better but unfortunately I found this story so so. It's very well written but something is missing to this story. Not much is happening in my opinion. I was happy to finish it. A little disappointment for me.

The juniper Gin Joint was an easy read. It was ideal for sitting down in a comfy chair, with a cup of tea (or Gin!) and escaping for a couple of hours.

what a refreshing read this was. I have never heard of this author before so it was a complete pleasure to have read this and reviewed it with high regard.
Jen is in a bit of a pickle in a lovely ear of the country, the no other than Devon. Her children have all fled the nest and her not so lovely husband has too after finding a new woman. She has to try and help the museum at work and Gin is her help. She opens up a Gin artisan distillery in the basement and she has to hope it works. All she needs is some hope and some Gin, who needs a man to hurt you when you have everything you need to be successful.
Brilliant read, i really enjoyed it.
Thank you to net galley and the publishers for this book.

Never read anything by this author before but thought it was a great read and was well written. Not sure if this is the authors debut as literally cannot find anything else by Lizzie Lovell and cannot find her social media but enjoyed the storyline all the same.

It's a lighthearted and easy read which I finished in a few days. Would recommend picking this novel up if you have an afternoon to kill. You'll be left feeling all happy and warm inside after you finish this! I love novels set in Devon and also ones that include dogs! And this novel had two very cheeky Jack Russell's involved.

It's an interesting storyline and the characters all seemed really lovely and intriguing so yes, I would recommend this novel. A lovely summery read. Thank you to Netgalley and to the publisher for a chance to read this novel, which I have reviewed honestly.
