Fitter faster, is a book with a difference its not just a diet book, its a way of life change but I have to admit that I was very confused by the whole way of working out the calorie intakes so much so I gave up with it, a good idea but I think you need to be very dedicated to follow this one.

Fitter Faster is a diet and exercise book, where unusually, one diet or regime doesn't fit all. The author takes the time to provide details on how you can calculate what's the best calorie intake for you based on your current weight and activity levels. This then provides the basis for which plan you should follow and then for each meal you make, the correct number if grams or tablespoons you need dependent on your chosen plan.

There are lots of food choices to be had, with photography to accompany it. He recommends 3 meals a day, though if you want to have 3 breakfasts you can if you follow his colour coded plan! The recipes themselves are easy to follow, which are for one person. The exercises are ones you can do at home without much equipment or a gym plan is provided if you have a membership. It also uses LISS, low intensity exercises to target the fat burning zone, which could be cycling, swimming or power walking.

Overall it's quite a good book, another one that lowers the number of carbs you consume whilst increasing protein and fats (the good kind). Its quite wordy in its explanations of everything. There are a few case studies through the book showing progress of other participants.

I received this book from netgalley in return for a honest review.

It is hard to write a fitness, health and diet book that is useful for everyone but I think that Kingsbury has created something cohesive with a wide appeal. It covers all of the basics, is clear and easy to follow, and features some really delicious looking recipes. Health books can be intimidating but I think Kingsbury strikes a good balance. The food is healthy but actually looks good! The exercises are also varied and everything works together to help guide users from start to finish. A great guide! I would definitely recommend to newbies and regular gym users.

A great book and an interesting read especially if you want to drop weight or just generally eat healthily. We all know that calories in/calories out works for everyone and this will ensure that you get an adequate amount of calories the healthy way. There are a lot of options and it gives you weights to weigh your food depending on which program you choose. This is a fast track on how to do that with some great healthy recipes to ensure you get carbs, fats, proteins and your fruit and veg.

I really enjoyed this books, the recipes are are amazing and tasty and I love how there are so many. I also really like the range of exercise and the way the book not only recommends things to do at the gym but also at home. Overall I would highly recommend it.
