I loved this book. Ana is left a vintage camper van by her best friend. She travels down to St Felix and is disappointed to discover it's in a terrible state.

I think camper vans have a magic all of their own- and this one is storing a secret supply of postcards which captivate Ana. She wants to return them to the original owner of the van and sets about trying to find 'Lou'.

She meets two gorgeous sounding men (lucky girl- Malachi and Noah). Both men have an air of mystery around them- but are easy to talk to. Malachi is working on the camper van and Noah works in an antique shop. He's keen to help her with the postcard adventure. I loved the friendship and romance that Ana finds in St Felix. It is a place that restores harmony to a troubled soul.

The cottage she manages to rent sounds absolutely stunning- perfect for stretching out on the balcony with something delicious from the local bakery and a lovely cup of coffee. I can smell the coffee beans!

I was so sorry to have to say goodbye to these characters and I'm hoping we'll get to return to St Felix or accompany Ana on an adventure in her camper van.

Ali’s books always take me out of my own mundane life and into someone else’s anything but life. This time it’s Ana’s life and the camper van she suddenly finds herself the owner of.

This book is rather whimsical and requires a little suspension of belief which I’m perfectly okay with.

Daisy’s Vintage Cornish Camper Van made me cry a little but it made me smile a lot more. Pick up this book and allow Ana, Daisy and everyone else you meet along the way to sweep you along.

A nice light summer read that is full of hope, love and magic. I really enjoyed aspects of this and would recommend to anyone looking for sheer escapism.

How lovely to revisit St Felix again in this book. Still a magical place helping Ana get over her grief of losing her best friend and Noah to move on from his previous job, with the help of Malachi and Jess who are much more than they seem. A lovely enchanting read. I just wish we all had a Malachi in our lives to help us on our own paths.

This novel is charming, uplifting and funny! Set in the idyllic St Felix (a fictional version of St Ives), McNamara's descriptions manage to perfectly capture the wholesome beauty of Cornwall within her pages. Her characters are brilliantly vivid and instantly loveable. A perfect, unputdownable summer adventure.

Thanks to Netgalley and the Little Brown Book Group for sending me this in exchange for an open and honest review.

Lovely, feel-good novel about how the path we take isn’t always the one we expected to. I enjoyed reading this and really connected with the characters. I love the author’s writing style and have enjoyed many of her books so far, and I look forward to reading others by her in the future.

I think I've only ever read one other novel by Ali McNamara and that was The Summer of Serendipity which is a novel that I was absolutely hooked to last summer. It was just stunningly written and really addictive. This book was very similar. First of all, the cover looks vintage and beautiful and completely draws you in. I love the bright rad camper van on the front and the seagulls flying around the cover. Secondly, the bright colours are so pretty and make you dream of summer.

This novel by Ali McNamara, was easily as magical as the other one I've read. It was stunning and I was also hooked from the first page. Ali has a way of making you feel as though you're right there next to the main character, and I love that about her style of writing. It's romantic and beautifully written and you relate to the characters from the off. Something that I think is so important for a reader to be able to do.

Main character Ana has recently been given a camper van so when she drives down to receive it, she decides to have a bit of a mini vacation in the seaside town whilst she's there. Whilst the camper van is being done up, this is when they discover the old postcards and Ana is from that point determined to return the postcards to whom they belong. This is when the mystery sets in and I couldn't put it down! It was an addictive read and again, was absolutely magical!

Overall, a lovely lighthearted and utterly magical novel by the very talented Ali McNamara, I will be thinking of this book for a long time. Thank you to the publisher for a chance to read this novel via Netgalley, which I have reviewed honestly.

I always enjoy Ali McNamara's books having read one over each of the past few summers. So I jumped at the chance to read this latest one and who could resist with that gorgeous cover of the vintage campervan? Daisy's Vintage Cornish Camper Van was a welcome return to the delightful Cornish town of St Felix, the setting for The Little Flower Shop by the Sea and I was delighted to spot passing references to some of the characters from that book too.

Ana's best friend and fellow 1980s music afficionado, Daisy, has recently died and has bequeathed Ana a vintage campervan. When Ana travels to St Felix to collect it, she discovers it is far from in a driveable condition. But mechanic Malachi, assures her he can get it roadworthy and back to its original glory in a short while. As he begins to renovate the van, he comes across a real treasure trove of old postcards, love letters written from Lou to Frankie. This has obviously been a secret love as the postcards have never been sent but together they represent more than fifty years of love. Daisy becomes determined to reunite the cards with the writer and the intended recipient.

The book is full of wonderful characters and I loved the bakers Ant and Dec (yes, really!) who had a talent for knowing just what their customers wanted. They were quite the double act like their namesakes and I do wonder whether they might feature in a future book? Malachi was a bit of an enigma. Why did no-one in St Felix seem to know who he was and what was that strange tingly feeling Ana got if their hands touched? And then of course, there were the strange things he sometimes said. Jess, who worked in the antiques shop, seemed very keen for Ana to get to know Noah. His aunt had died and left him shop and he was unlikely to have been in St Felix otherwise. Jess  appeared at just the right time when he needed help. Was fate playing a hand in all these people being in the same place at the same time? Daisy-Rose though, the campervan, was the quiet star of the show and perhaps even had me convinced (as my husband keeps trying to) that it would be wonderful to travel in an old van.

As with all of Ali McNamara's books there is a hint of something magical at work. As well as Malachi being rather mysterious, there was the mystery of the postcards too. Quite often on her search, Ana would come across what seemed to be a sign that she was on the right track and usually that sign was linked to the 1980s. It was lovely to watch Ana begin to live for herself again and find a focus to her life trying to solve the mystery of the postcards.

I loved every page of Daisy's Vintage Cornish Camper Van. It was a delight to read with its mix of mystery, magic, great characters, romance and with such a gorgeous setting. Another winner from Ali McNamara!

I don’t seem to be able to get enough of books that are set in Cornwall so I was looking forward to reading this new release by Ali McNamara who is an author whose books I have previously enjoyed.
When Ana loses her best friend Daisy to breast cancer she is left a camper van that is in desperate need of repair. As Ana travels to Cornwall where the camper van is currently situated she enlists the help of Malachi to carry out the repairs but she soon finds out that this is no small job and will have to spend longer than planned in Cornwall. It is when she comes across a selection of old postcards from the previous owner of the camper van that her journey to reunite them with their owner really begins.
The storyline is one that kept me entertained from start to finish and I loved the touch of magic that she sprinkles into the storyline. I found this an easy read perfect for holiday reading with romance at the heart along with watching Ana on a journey to find herself after such a big part of her life has now gone. Although a lot of the storyline was predictable we are treated to a little surprise when it comes to the origin of the postcards which was a touching moment in the book. This is a perfect light Summer read.

Ana travels to the village of St. Felix in Cornwall to inspect the old camper van that has been gifted to her. It’s in rough shape, but Ana likes the village and decides to stay on, renting a cottage while she restores the van. During the restoration, Ana discovers a series of postcards hidden in the upholstery, postcards from the 1950’s that were never mailed. She makes it her mission to see the postcards are delivered to the person they were addressed to and in the process finds herself a new circle of friends and a whole new life. This is such a fun, feel good story. It was a refreshing read after a soul sucking day that made me feel worlds better

If you want a feel good, heart warming hug in a book, then look no further than Daisy’s Vintage Cornish Camper Van, the fabulous new book by Ali McNamara.

Ana has inherited a dilapidated camper van which is currently redoing in the pretty Cornish town of St Felix. She plans on a quick trip to go and get the van by it would appear St Felix has other ideas for her. Throw in some postcards dating back to the fifties and an whole host of potential new friends and it seems Ana may be staying for longer.

This book is beautifully written and draws you in to the story perfectly. I can definitely recommend this book and think I also need to plan a trip to Cornwall!

Thank you to NetGalley, Little, Brown Book Group and the author for the chance to review.

Absolutely loved this story.
It starts with Ana who has inherited an old run down camper van from her friend who has died.
Ana goes to Cornwall to collect the van and get it restored before she can drive it home.
This is a lovely heart warming story of her finding herself and has a few twists along the way.

I do love books written by this author and this was no exception. very easy light read that you can just get stuck in to for a while.
Was a little bit predictable, and for me the whole angel thing is a bit far fetched as i do not believe in it but i think it did fit the story. good to see some old characters back as well. .

When Ana’s best friend Daisy dies, she leaves her a vintage camper van but Ana has to travel to St. Felix in Cornwall to collect it. On arrival she discovers the camper van is derelict and needs to be restored. Ana meets Malachi who agrees to restore the van for her and they discover a series of postcards written over the past 40 years from Lou to her one true love Frankie. Ana also meets Noah the owner of the local antique shop and together they set out to try to find the original owner of the postcards.

A fabulous book which is well written with excellent characters, I loved the outcome of Frankie and Lou’s story which was a nice surprise. A magical entertaining story which I recommend.

Fantastic. Loved this book from the very start, couldn't put it down and just finished this afternoon after 2 days.......Had an inkling of what the plot was going to be but was totally surprised by the lovely end result of Lou & Frankie, not ashamed to say brought a tear and a smile to my eye. Very well written and could imagine the scenery of St Felix as described and am now going to have to look out for other novels by this author . Highly recommended to all ages, would make an excellent pool/beach book

I love Ali McNamara’s writing and this book was another gem. I loved the magical elements - it reminded me of early Cecelia Ahern books. It was great to revisit St Felix and see some familiar faces pop up, but I don’t think you need to have read the authors’ other books to enjoy this one. It can very much be read as a stand alone novel. A really great summer read. You don’t want to miss this if you’re a fan of women’s fiction!

When Ana is left a camper van in her best fried Daisy's will, she reluctantly heads off to Cornwall to collect it. There she meets the mysterios Malachi, an Irish charmer who is going to restore the van for her. She also meets Noah, who runs an antique shop in the town. But things aren't as they seem. When they find some old post cards inside the camper van and Ana decides to try and track down the previous owner of the van, Noah and Ana start to spend more time together, but both need to deal with issues from their past if they can move of with the future.

Also nice to catch up with residents of St Felix who have been featured in previous books.

I always look forward to Ali's books as always good but this one is her best by far full of Cornwall with romance and putting magic back into a camper van. It's worth far more than the five stars I have given it I got hooked from the first page. Simply well written with excellent characters and the story is brilliant and wants you to read more to find out the outcome of everything. Set in beautiful countryside in Cornwall what more could you ask for. Would love to see a follow on to this book as didn't want it to end.
Ana looses her best friend due to cancer and in her will she's left her a camper van only problem is she has to go to Cornwall to collect it to a beautiful village called st Felix. She thinks it will be a quick trip to pick it up and she can then get on with her life but once she arrives she knows the sea air is just what she wants. She goes to the garage where the camper van is and realises it isn't road worthy and she's got to have it done up but the person there promises he can do it while she works in Cornwall and enjoys a break. She discovers a collection of unsentimental postcards in the van and they fate back years she starts to read them and wants to reunite them back with the writer. She stays in a cottage so she can sort out who they belong to. She gets friendly with Noah from the local shop and can they both help each other to heal and move forward and can they find romance with each other or not. Can they find the owner of the postcards or not and in doing so they get some magic and unexpected things happen.
A simply brilliant read highly recommend any one to read it.
