Was a good book but took me a while to get into. I think there was too many character swaps for me personally and thought that there was too many different plot lines for me to fully appreciate the book. The ending was done well and really kept me wondering what was happening. I do wish I had read the previous books in this series however to get a better understanding.

I loved this book. You could tell it was part of a series by mentions of past cases, but I think that this novel could stand alone. I didn't feel like I was missing anything. I loved the characters, and the author kept me guessing until the very last chapter. Malachi was my favorite character. I would put this in the category of cozy mysteries (My favorite kind) and plan on reading the two past books as well as following the series. If you like M.C. Beaton and Agatha Christie, you will like this series.
