I don't have access to the book anymore. I have been using a new email for kindle for the last year. I will focus on new books instead of digging for the old files. I apologize for the inconvenience. It's not my intention to not review like this.

An honest review thanks to NetGalley. This was a fantastic read, the chemistry between the two characters jumped off the page from the very beginning. I loved experiencing their story, and am excited to re read it!

The chemistry was amazing. However, the book got repetitive. I ended up skimming a lot of it. Not bad for a quick romance.

**Not my favorite - a little too drawn out and wordy for my tastes. the storyline is good and characters are ok, but they feel a little flat to the world building.

Didn’t like this as much as the match series, but the story was good. I got is as an audio book and I don’t know if there was an issue with my copy but the narrator had what sounded like a lisp. It was very distracting at first, got used to it but every once in a while it was very noticeable. Short of detracted from the story.

Another great read by Fiona Riley. Likable characters and very sexy. I appreciated the work-relationship balance and how Olivia and Savannah worked thought this difficulty.

This was a very well written, gripping book. Both leads were well developed characters and had great chemistry. The work setting was interesting. The romance was a slow burn and really well paced. However, the writing was a little too tell and not enough show, and the repetitive use of first names in dialogue came across a little unnatural .

Certainly does what it sets out to do but severe lack of story and wouldn't sell well in our store. Title good though.

I read halfway through the book and when it started getting repetitive I skipped to the end thinking i'd go back and read it if interesting. Unfortunately not so much...

Ive read better from Ms. Riley

Initial response to this book was short and solid.

The connection between the characters is exceptional. Riley seems to have the ability to really let the chemistry sizzle between her characters. This is a stand alone novel. I could make comparisons to her Perfect Match series but that wouldn't be fair. That series was unique in its own right just as this is. But I did pick this book up because of that series.

I was not disappointed. Riley has a unique and confident writing style and that bleeds into her stories. I find that Riley allows me to believe. Believe that one day all relationships will one day be accepted. This is another one of those.

Yes I would recommend this book especially to romance fans. Enjoy!

I’m a big fan of Riley’s Perfect Match series. Riley does a fantastic job of writing connections between her characters. I enjoy her dialogue and the interactions she writes allows her readers to really buy into her relationships. Her characters are likeable and her secondary characters always fit perfectly. If you enjoyed her Perfect Match series you will enjoy this one as well. Riley could easily become one of favorite go to authors. Hope she keeps em coming.

Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle. Oh my giddy aunt but there’s a lot of sexy-times in this story. Don’t worry, it’s none of the boring kind because if there’s one thing Fiona Riley can deliver it’s scorching scenes. The only thing that made me go hmmm where the times that Savannah and Olivia forget themselves and went at it like rabid weasels in public places. I can understand running the risk of getting caught increases the kink for the peeps involved but I would not like to get an eye-full of oral sex while I’m taking a ride on the ferris wheel (or having a drink at the piano bar…. or taking my kids (if I had any) for a spin on the carousel).

Other than the generous dollop of slap and tickle there is still a plot to enjoy. The ladies meet on the work floor, there is mutual attraction with lots of slow burn flirting and heated foreplay, things need to be on the down-low because of work ethics, plenty of internal struggle about commitment issues and bad experiences with partners in the past and of course the dreaded 80% mark drama-rama (oy gevalt!) where both parties involved take a stupid pill. That’s a star deduction right there.

Room Service is not as polished as Riley’s later work (I hear this was something she wrote before the Miss Match series) but still a very enjoyable experience.

f/f explicit

Themes: work work work, I’m still not quite sure I understand what it is these people are building exactly, something with plants and projections and water features, but whatever it is they do they are good at it, but after work there is play… plenty of play.

4 stars

I loved this book from the first pages! An all around feel good cheesy romance.

Olivia and Savanah are paired together on a series of design projects that has them working in close quarters. As they get to know each other, they find their growing attraction irresistible. Their job is too important for both of them to risk on a simple fling, but their attraction and the deeper feelings they have for each other is far from simple.

The main characters were were both very very sexy, but showed a lot of depth, being very career driven and independent, and had some considerable baggage to overcome. I was really able to connect with the characters. And damn the chemistry is palpable from the beginning, which made the book a slow sensual tease that I could not get enough of. It was just a sexy book that just kept on giving.
It was classy sexy, while their attraction was obvious from the beginning, the progression of their relationship was very natural and timely. The sexy scenes (which were lots) were incredibly well written - the phone sex scene was definitely memorable.

The creative part of their work was really well described, I loved being able to watch their projects come alive on the page. It was incredible!

The conflict and its resolution was perfect and it went well with the story. It didn't feel forced of weak. Overall an enjoyable, effortless, read.

I know that I will be reading this book again in the near future.

This is definitely a romance, romance story. We are teased with looks and electric slight touches throughout the first half. Then it progresses to makeout sessions. And finally many, many sex scenes. Many in odd places, such as a ferris wheel?? Really? Throw in a little disruption in the relationship and a predictable ending and you have the story. The characters are interesting and the dialog is good. An enjoyable read.

This is a nice summer romance. It is not a complicated read and one you will enjoy over a weekend.

Olivia Dawson is a very talented designer who manages a team of creative geniuses. She and her team are assigned to a high-profile contract to design energy efficient office buildings. Olivia is very passionate about her work and thrives on challenges. Not only is she creative but she is an excellent communicator and can get her team to work well together under difficult time constraints and conditions.

Savannah Quinn works for the company that has been commissioned to have the buildings designed. Her company has assigned her to oversee the contract. She is a workaholic and is a wiz in the business world.

Although Olivia and Savannah are attracted to each other, they both feel that it will not be professionally wise to act on these feelings. In addition, they both had been in relationships which did not end well.

Ms. Riley has written a good romantic plot, even if it is predictable. There were a few parts of the book which were a little slow, but she made up for this with the chemistry between the Savannah and Olivia. Her characters are well developed and likeable. Throughout the story she interjects moments of humor that readers will appreciate.

I have read all of Ms. Riley’s books and have particularly enjoyed her “Perfect Match” series. Room Service is a good read and I rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

I was given this ARC in return for a fair and honest review.

Olivia Dawson is a creative genius. The leader of her interior design team, she manages to lead the talented and disparate group of individuals to create amazing and beautiful interiors on time and on budget. When a large corporate job comes up which has the potential to change the trajectory of the company, Olivia and her team are chosen to take on the work. There’s only one problem; Olivia has a crush on Savannah Quinn, the liaison between her team and the corporation.

Savannah is still smarting from a rough breakup, and uses travel for work as an excuse to avoid putting down roots in her new town. Now working closely with Olivia and her team offers new possibilities for avoidance, and a new romance. Both are trying to remain professional, while the tension and heat escalates every day they work together. Will they make it to the end of the trial stage of the plan before it all blows up?

This is a well-written and often funny tale by Riley, who has written several other romances between professional women. I like the smart and capable women Riley depicts, and she manages to give them personalities that are distinct and work with the plots she has devised. It is a fantasy; everyone is really good at their jobs and never seems to have a moment of doubt, but that is a sharp relief to most of us and makes it a delight to escape into that world.

I really enjoy Riley’s writing, and this is no exception. Enjoy this well crafted romance between two smart, capable and good-looking women.

I am a big fan of Fiona Riley. Her Miss Match series was entertaining, sexy and each book starred characters I fell in love with, quirks and all. The humour and sparks are present in Room Service but I didn’t enjoy this read as much as I did her previous novels. The public displays of affection in the workplace and while socializing with coworkers set off all my “inappropriate” bells and whistles. There are lots and lots of sex scenes to keep everyone entertained but they felt more like filler to cover a weak storyline.

I’m still a fan of Ms. Riley but this book did not work for me. Maybe it’s an age thing and my old codger side got the best of me with this read. The notes I made while reading this went along the lines of ‘flirting, flirting, flirting, inappropriate workplace flirting for professional women” and "PDA’s make me cringe. If I was one of their subordinates I’d be shouting “Get a room!”

My review is 3.8 stars.

When there are choices in our lives and those choices are going to decide the future then it's important we should see in ourselves before taking the decision to actually check what and how this choice is going to affect us in real. This books main characters are strong. I liked both Olivia and Savannah and the way they are developed in the story is awesome.

The romance happens at the time when it's the least expected and actually, that is always fun to read. The romance of that kind. Emotion and thought process wise this is a book you will enjoy definitely because there is a lot that is going on in the mind of both the characters. I liked the way story is progressed and the flow of the story is good. The romance in the story is actually Lesbian Romance and the way this story is represented I liked it. Scenes description and the dialogues are nice. There was a bit of disappointment as per the story content otherwise I have rated this book 4 stars. On and all, good and nice entertainment I had while reading the book.

I would recommend this book to all LGBT Romance Readers.

Fiona Riley has done it again. Her imagination surpasses anything I have ever read. The carousel and ferris wheel. OMG The chemistry between her main characters if off the chart but the hands off workplace romance was fun. The teasing and looks and small touches was intoxicating. I loved the slow burn romance .Great read.

This book had characters that were likeable and relatable. Secondary characters really made the book. The plot was typical lesbian romance. It was an enjoyable read.
The slow build up between the two leads, Olivia and Savannah, complete with steamy sex scenes. Definitely a book that is a wonderful day read or an all-nighter.
Would absolutely recommend.
