A powerful thriller! The reader follows the fate of ‘Sara Eden’ who has no memory of who she is. We meet her first age ten, found in a sensory deprivation bath and soon become aware of quite how special Sara is, without any understanding of why.

There are different timelines, allowing the reader to grasp the back story and how we reached this point. The clues left for Sara are necessarily cryptic but help her fill in her memory gaps and grasp a clearer understanding of how she came to be where she is.

This is a real ‘what if’ government secret projects thriller and is certainly action-packed. There is a lot happening and it’s difficult to work out why, until Mosawi crafts the threads into a tight knit story.

Yes, there were moments that were a little far-fetched, but they worked well in the story. I also found the ending quite abrupt - maybe because it will lead into a follow up?

Cracking debut novel, I’ll be interested to read future books!

I did enjoy this book but found it hard to connect with the characters, which made it difficult to care if anything happened to them. I feel with more character development, it could be great!

Due to a sudden, unexpected passing in the family a few years ago and another more recently and my subsequent (mental) health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for several years after the bereavements. This meant I didn't read or venture onto netgalley for years as not only did it remind me of that person as they shared my passion for reading, but I also struggled to maintain interest in anything due to overwhelming depression. I was therefore unable to download this title in time and so I couldn't give a review as it wasn't successfully acquired before it was archived. The second issue that has happened with some of my other books is that I had them downloaded to one particular device and said device is now defunct, so I have no access to those books anymore, sadly.

This means I can't leave an accurate reflection of my feelings towards the book as I am unable to read it now and so I am leaving a message of explanation instead. I am now back to reading and reviewing full time as once considerable time had passed I have found that books have been helping me significantly in terms of my mindset and mental health - this was after having no interest in anything for quite a number of years after the passings. Anything requested and approved will be read and a review written and posted to Amazon (where I am a Hall of Famer & Top Reviewer), Goodreads (where I have several thousand friends and the same amount who follow my reviews) and Waterstones (or Barnes & Noble if the publisher is American based). Thank you for the opportunity and apologies for the inconvenience.

Trust No One is an electrifying ride. Anthony Mosawi does a wonderful job of telling the story of Sara Eden, a young woman found at age ten in a homemade sensory-deprivation chamber. Abandoned and alone, Sara struggles to find out who she is, as well as find answers to the cryptic messages left by her mysterious captor. This is an unforgettable journey that will have readers questioning who they can trust and hoping that Sara will make it out of this life-altering situation alive. This book is full of action and suspense that will leave readers enthralled and hungry for more. Trust No One is a must-read for any fan of thrillers and suspense novels.

This was an interesting idea, but the writing was not fantastic. Small things annoyed me, such as an English person in England using a 'flashlight' - no, it is a torch. Either written for the US market, in which case why not just set it over there, or just incorrect. So mostly just those little things that annoyed me - the outcome for the brother and for her just seemed rather unlikely, as though the ending was rushed. A little disappointing, then, although I read until the end and thought it okay for most of it, until near the end.

So I really struggled with this one, I had started it multiple times and I just couldn't connect to the characters and one of the big things for me is being able to connect with the characters in some way.

Trust No One by Anthony Mosawi is a thriller about a ten year old girl who when she is found by the police and social services has no memory of who she is or where she is from. She is in fear for her life and will do anything to find her mother.

Unfortunately I cannot give a fair review of this book as I was unable to finish it. I found it too difficult to connect with.

This story was lacking in a lot for me. The character development wasn't particularly strong so felt no connection to them, and the pace didn't have me gripped. There were also some aspects of the storyline which were hard to accept and feel believable.

I did not finish this book. It was a real mish mash. Not very well written and just very hard going.

The first time I started reading this, many months ago, it didn’t grab my attention so I set it aside promising to come back to it. A few days ago I started again and this time it took hold. When I wasn’t reading it I was wondering about the little girl, Sara. Why was this happening to her? Who were these people? What will happen to her? Those three questions are what compelled me to read this story every chance I got. I’m not a quick reader because I like why I’m reading to sink in so I get the full comprehension of what is happening, but this book had me intrigued so I kept going and I am so glad I came back to it. Thanks for a great read! I look forward to reading more by Anthony Mosawi.

Trust No One is about a ten year old little girl Sara Ede, found by the police with no memory, all she can remember is …. My name is Sara Eden. I was born in Scotland in 1980. My mother died at birth. My father was a tourist.
While the plot of this book is an interesting one, I did find it rather far fetched and unbelievable at times. Having said that, I did still enjoy this book.

I struggled with this book. Brutal in places, it will appeal to fans of Nomad and other novels of that ilk but not me.

Not quite my thing but I can see that this would be a great read for those who like their thrillers hard-hitting and a bit political. All a bit too brutal for me but thought the premise was great and the writing tight.

This was a weirdly entertaining read, with the touches of a X men movie thrown inbetween. I just loved the gripping read and couldn't wait to see what Sara's past means in her current life. Recommended for anyone who loves a good read that's a bit different to the normal crime genre.

Thanks to NetGalley for sending me a copy of this prior to publication. This was one that’s taken me too long to get round to reading.
When I looked this up on Goodreads I read about an author with Alzheimer’s and wondered quite how it would work. For the first few chapters I was horribly confused as there seemed to be no links to the book I was reading. There weren’t. Same title, different author.
The book opens with the shocking discovery of young Sara Evans locked in a bathroom. We don’t know anything about her and she has no memory of events. What we can work out is that someone is after her, and her regaining her memory could be very dangerous.
The book shifts through a number of events and times. It could be confusing, but I didn’t feel that. We’re kept in suspense and there’s plenty of action.
A little different in terms of concept. It’s a little far-fetched, but good fun.

I was grabbed by the synopsis of this book but - although I enjoy a complex plot - it was confusing in places and did not quite live up to my expectations.

This book really disappointed me. I wasn’t invested in the characters at all despite liking the premise. There were two time periods going on and the constant jumping was tiring and frustrating. I often found myself lost in the plot and there were too many characters to keep track of. I was glad that I even was able to finish it at all.
