This was a brilliant read. As soon as I started reading this book I just knew I was going to love it. Highly recommended

Its the 60's and this book is about two girls Sandra & Linda growing up within that era, the music, culture, fashion, relationships, friendships & trying to find a place to fit!. I enjoyed reading about the music- Mods and Rockers and the dances but at times I struggled to keep engaged with the story.
My thanks go to the publisher, author and Netgalley in providing this arc in return for a honest review.

Thanks Netgalley and the Publisher. Not sure what I can say about this book as although I read it some of the facts did not seem to add together.

As a teenager in the sixties, this was a "must" for me. Unfortunately, I couldn't relate to it at all. We saw the skirmishes between the mods and rockers on the news, heard about purple hearts but didn't know what they were and again the Ban the Bomb business was on the News. We would not have been allowed to go into rough pubs or dance halls and would not have been seen dead with ex-convicts and drunks or we would have been grounded. The only thing I recognised was "Ready, Steady, Go." It must be a north-south divide thing. Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers.

I enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it. The characters were believable and interesting so that the story flowed.
