The premise of this book is beautiful - and like so much of actual life, promises a bit more than it can deliver. The stories were a bit less filled out than I might have hoped, but at the same time I found myself cheering that a book like this exists at all. I hope it will be the first of many, and that this will inspire more creative thought into this season of life.

This Book was a total miss for me. I could not connect with the story nor the dialogue. I wanted to like it from the synopsis, but the connection was frayed.

Part memoir, part literary criticism. The author’s love for books and reading and for her family shines through.
