Well! What can I say about this book. For me this was a last minute addition and I'm so, so glad I got to read it. It did not disappoint at all. If you love your romances and the occasional heart-breaking unearthing of secrets then this is just the book for you!
I am still relatively new to the romance scene of books, as I've got older my tastes are changing (must be going soft in my old age!). But they are definitely starting to become a favourite genre of mine. Especially with books like this. This was a lovely quick read and I had it finished in a few days. It was beautifully written and I honestly thought the characters were fantastic.
The instant attractions that happen are electrifying! I think if I was there in the room I'd have felt the electrical charges. Not to mention everything a wedding needs, the meddling mother, the nosy aunt, and the even nosier grandmother. Not to mention a best man that needs to find love and the bride and groom that are made for each other.
What an electrifying read and I'm giving this book a 4/5 rating.

This is the first book I have read by this author and certainly won't be the last. There is a Nashville series, of which this is part of it, but as far as I'm aware this has a new character and I can certainly vouch for it being easy to read as a stand alone.

With the upcoming wedding the author takes us on a journey showing us the stress and pressure that comes in the build up to the big day. Saying that though we get to see relationships grow as well as get tighter. There was a fair bit of mention of food and cooking which had my mouth watering and I was getting ready to gate crash the wedding!

Josh is without a doubt a nice bit of eye candy for us readers to admire and fantasise about. I'm sure I won't be the only one wishing I could swap places with Louise. I very much enjoyed seeing the chemistry build between the two and was urging them to put any reservations to one side and hurry up and get together. I mean who doesn't love a bit of romance and a happy ending?

Here Comes The Best Man is an entertaining and enjoyable story that was a relatively quick read. Great for readers who want something light hearted with a dash of love. Look forward to reading more by the author.

I'd forgotten how much I love a book that features a good American southern man, with manners, calls people Ma'am and felt like a cowboy without being a cowboy. It has been ages since I read a book with that sort of leading man, and I am so glad I now remember just how much I enjoy them!

Josh is wonderful, he is reluctant to even be at this brother's wedding to start with, let alone be the best man in a week of wedding festivities, until he meets Louise.

Louise is Maggie (the bride's ) godmother's assistant and as a result is an invited guest of the wedding, and she is determined not to fall for anyone, let alone the black sheep of the family.

I loved both Louise and Josh and all their various interactions. They both have quite a bit of depth to them, and although this is reasonably short book there is a good amount packed into it.

This is a direct sequel to The Weeding Reject Table which I read a few years ago, but as the focus of this book is not the same main characters, I can say it definitely works as a standalone. Although I couldn't remember specifics from the first book, there were enough prompts / hints at what happened that you can get a good idea of what the key bits from the first story may have been - although I would recommend reading it too.

There are great interfering manipulative relatives, much humour, some fabulous chemistry and did I mention how much I fancied Josh for myself?

An incredibly enjoyable novella from an author I always tend to enjoy reading that will delight many I think.

Thank you to Netgalley and Choc Lit for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

I really wanted to love this book but I just could not fully connect. It was a good story line. I just found the whole romance felt very rushed and not quite believable and I was left feeling like something was missing.
