All in all, Vampyre Lawyer is a disappointment.

Don't get me wrong. I love vampire books. I respect their mythos and intricacies. I am a big fan of Angel and Buffy. I felt sorry for Bram Stoker's Dracula... but Vampire Lawyer is not the book I'd recommend to fans of vampire fiction.
The book felt wrong from the very first page. It is vaudeville(esque) for the most part.

Went into this too serious and didn't like it, then took a second look at it towards the end and really enjoyed it. I finished the book with a good laugh at all the insane things that happened in those 240ish pages. It's like watching a sitcom with the domino effect of chaos from one event to another. One massive blazing train wreck.
After all, how normal can your life be when Count Dracula decides to time travel and end up in a goth band as his ticket to a magical place called America?

Read this straight through in one sitting. The write up on this book had me intrigued , and the story was well worth reading. A very different twist on the usual vampire / vampyre stories.

Count Dracula is a vampire living in Transylvania. His servant suggests he stops doing bad things and do good. He also tells him to go to America. Dracula goes to see a wizard to get his curse removed. Does the curse get removed? Dracula sleeps 150 years and wakes. He starts to walk to get out of the forest. He becomes confused and gets lost. When the member of the world famous Techno Zombies finds him, he wants Dracula to join the band — all he has to do is walk across the stage while the band plays. When Dracula now called Drac learns that the band is going to America on. Their world tour, he agrees to do it. He becomes a star and also plays his violin with the band. Drac needs a lawyer but no lawyer will take his case. When a brand new lawyer gets a blood transfusion that keeps him from dying in the hospital, Drac has a lawyer who will take his case.

The author has not written a typical scary vampire novel. It is funny, It made me laugh out loud. In this novel you will find a vampire, the Techno Zombies band, lawyers and mobsters. I loved reading such a different vampire novel!

I really enjoyed this book, it was well written with a good storyline and well developed characters, which were essential to the plot but the amount of them made for confusing reading sometimes. However I still loved it and will definitely be looking for more from the author.

I won't be leaving a public review for this book, as it was unfortunately a Did Not Finish for me.

I liked the concept, found parts of it humorous, but found myself 45% of the way through the book and just not enjoying it. I found myself reluctant to read it, as I just couldn't connect.

Just not a book for me, sorry.

This book was hilarious in it totality. It was also a hot mess. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about this one at this moment in time. So, I'll just rate it based on how I felt the second I finished it.

Interesting story. I have read a lot books about Dracula and vampires in general and this story was a new approach. The story is about good and evil. As easy as that.
Who knows what would happen if Dracula one thay realises that that’s enough, he is going to be a good guy. And that he is in need of a lawyer. Read it and find out.

This book kept me up late, I absolutely loved it, there’s a lot of characters so I had to go back to remember who was who at first but after that I had it.......great storyline, not your typical vampyre story

Count Dracula is an evil blood sucker from Transylvania. Everyone knows this. His houses keep getting burned down so Igor, his faithful servant tells him he should do good, not bad and sends him to a wizard to get his curse lifted. He tells him that he should go to America. So he heads off to see the Wizard. One hundred and fifty years later, he shows up in the forest, not knowing what century he is in and where he is. Fortunately, he is found by a member of a band, the Techno Zombies. The band thinks he will be great on the stage, so Drac( his band name) goes to America and becomes a star. He plays a violin that rocks. One day, Drac needs a lawyer. No one will take his case. Bradley Harrington Chester III, a lawyer who is getting his practice off the ground gets involved in a hit and run and Drac saves him. Now he has a lawyer. This book is not your usual vampire fare. It's not scary, but really funny. There's a Vampyre, lawyers, a techno band and of course mobsters. Loved this story. Great characters. I received this book from Net Galley and BooksGoSocial for a honest review and no compensation otherwise.
