I have loved reading this book a different side to the idea of war.To find out a family member is a traitor is hard but the family rally around and are prepared for what ever comes their way.Ellie is a young girl who loves to fly and with the coming war knows she won't be able to continue. Her two brothers are in the R A F and on a visit home her brother Neil brings a friend who takes a liking to Ellie. As time passes Ellie decides to join the WAAF'S she leaves home for her new life and soon settles in enjoying her new life.I won't give the plot away but i would recommend you read this book well worth 5*

My first foray into this author's writing and it's not likely to be my last. Engaging characters together with an enjoyable cast.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book about a young woman and her family in pre-World War II England. Their life and trails were intriguing and engaging. I was disappointed to find out that this was a “to be continued”but and not a stand alone saga. But in spite of that, it was enjoyable.
