I do love a good Christmas book and this certainly was a good book. Haley is a workaholic and wants to be a partner in the advertising agency where she works but to get this promotion she has to land a big account for the firm. Hot on her heels is Tom who also wants the big account . He Is totally into Christmas with a Christmas tree, Christmas music etc in his office while Haley doesn't do Chistmas. She takes her parents to the Caribbean every year where she catches up with a client and continues to work.

Larry, Haleys boss, sends her to Christmas Camp to try and awaken her Christmas spirit and hopefully show her how to have fun. The camp is run by Ben whose son Jeff is also there for what could be the last Christmas Camp. Haley finds it difficult to join in and just wants to get her certificate of participation, work on her presentation and get back to the office. Gradually she starts to enjoy the company of her fellow guests and starts to enjoy herself but can she stop thinking work is all life has to offer.

I loved the characters in this book and the Christmas traditions running through it. There were some very funny moments and also some very touching ones, especially the Christmas tree where children could write their Christmas wish on an angel and attach it to the tree. It's a book about friendship, compromise, tradition and love

Buy the book, curl up near a Christmas tree and log fire and enjoy.
