Considering I have been taking my time with this book and the events that happened since I requested this book and till today, I do not want to review the book due to author's behaviour towards readers and reviewers.

I liked the basic idea but beacause I have not read the other books in this series I felt like I was missing out on something else as I fully did not love this book, It had some nice ideas but was not for me fully.

I was not aware this was the third in a trilogy until I was about 10% of the way through. A brief glance at the summaries/reviews of the first two got me enough information that I wasn't completely lost while reading. Really the only problem I had with the book was that the action would slam to a halt for the romance and the pacing of the book suffered for it. I also couldn't get a good grasp of the characters but that's probably because I didn't read the first two so I don't count it against this book. I would have probably liked this book more without any focus on the romances and with more action/adventure/thriller. The two parts by themselves were written fine, but they weren't not blended together will enough for me.

Legacy Strain was the third book in the Isolation Series. I had not read the first two. I enjoyed this book and I believe this is a great author. I can not wait to read the first two books. The characters and story line are well written.

A good finish to a great series.
I never really connected with many of the characters, being only invested in Gabriel and Brooklyn. Brooklyn's character in particular seemed untouchable and could have benefited from further development and but the interconnectedness of all the characters and the plot drove a sense of urgency throughout.
Well worth a read.
