I simply cannot even try to be objective or unbiased here as I just love this authors writing so much. She rocks!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
This is the 4th book in the Mercury Pack series by the extremely talented Suzanne Wright and as always I am in total book-heaven while reading these amazing, romantic and sexy "wolf-shifter" stories.
Thank you, Montlake Romance for this ARC.

What an amazing story! I must say that Bracken story was heart-wrenching, it's no wonder he was so closed off from any type of feelings. Of course, that is why he needs a heard strong, dominant, alpha female! There is no way any other female would have put up with him. Madisyn is just the right female for him. It was great to see how her cat slowly let him in but was still moody with him and did not hesitate to rip into him.. I love how all the stories line up, and how Suzanne keeps the Phoenix pack characters integrated with the Mercury pack series. I devoured this book in 1 day (and that is having to work) I can't wait for more from the Mercury pack series, these are near and dear to my heart.

The heroine in this book is one of my favorites, this couple is one of the more stables and well balanced.

Bracken is very territorial, “hear me, Madisyn. If you let another guy touch you while my mark is on you, I’ll snap his effing neck. I will, and I won’t even care. So I repeat: when the touch-hunger flares up again, you come to me.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Bracken, him and his woman butted head so many times.

Madisyn is a feline shifter and a loner. She helps at the shelter for shifters and a bar. She just ended an on line relationship because he kept making excuses not to meet her. Now she is suffering from touch hunger, it’s where a shifter of her kind needs touch or the are in horrible pain. Bracken is a loner too but is part of the Mercury Pack. He’s known Madisyn for awhile but she really never got past his guard until her touch hunger. Which he helps to relieve and then can’t get enough of her. She gets into a brawl with some female bears and Bracken takes her home. Well the girls return and hit Bracken and that’s when the mating bond starts. Madisyn doesn’t want to join a pack because she likes being by herself. But the more time they spend the stronger the bond gets and neither can deny they are true mates. They must face enemies and their past to get the mating bond to completely snap in place.

This probably doesn’t make a lot of sense but I didn’t want to give anything away. You’ll need a cold shower after this book, it will melt your e-reader. Jealousy, painful pasts, shifters, funny, and action. I love Ms. Wright’s books and always look forward to reading her paranormal series. I’m still waiting on Dominic’s book. But if you love steamy paranormal books this is for you.

I would say this is not a standalone, I have read the previous books in this series and have really enjoyed them. So when I started this book I knew that the plot was going to carry over to the next mated pair.
The story flows very well and is written excellently by the author she's a great story teller, I don't want to give any spoilers away so I will say, lots of drama and action. Lots of romance and sexy scenes!
I rate this 4 stars, losing a star for some secondary characters flaws. Stop with the meddling, wolfs!

I was so excited when I saw this book available on Netgalley. I requested it and anxiously waited almost a month to see if I would be approved. I was approved yesterday and finished it last night! This was such an awesome book!!! Bracken and Madisyn’s journey to their HEA had some bumps along the way, but once they passed them, it was epic. The last we heard of Bracken was when we read about the tremendous losses he faced and this has affected him deeply. So much that his pack have been concerned for him and he has been slowly isolating himself, but things start to change when an incident involving Madisyn comes into play. When their connection is realized, Bracken starts to feel alive again and the pursuit is on. Madisyn does not make things easy for him. She is a rare feline breed, a pallas cat, and they are naturally a loner and very antisocial, but on top of that she also had trust issues. She soon realizes what Bracken means to her, but still does not trust it. But as time went on the pull towards each other got stronger. They both gave each other peace and a sense of belonging. And the chemistry was smoking hot!! All of Suzanne Wright’s previous books had characters with amazing chemistry, but I thought this one was the hottest. This book also had me smiling and laughing so much. Their were so many sweet moments between Madisyn and Bracken, especially while Madisyn was in her feline form. That cat was awesome!! I had never heard of the Pallas cat so like many people will, I googled it. They look so cute and cuddly, but when you read this book, you will find how looks can be very deceiving. She was grouchy, fierce, a bit crazy and just a bada$$! There were also so many laugh out loud moments as well, the banter between these two was hilarious and so so cute. I loved it all!

And like in all of the books in the Mercury Pack and Phoenix Pack series, there is always an epic battle, and like in the others this one was just as brutal and cringe-worthy, but you can always trust things will work out.

I loved this book so much, I can not wait for the next installment.

Thank you Netgalley and Montlake Publishing for the complimentary copy of Echoes of Fire. All opinions are my own.

Love heals. That's the theme of this story about post-tragedy Bracken and longtime loner Madisyn. It's an intriguing pairing as they've known each other for a while, but haven't felt the mating bond before. I never would have guessed these two would make sense, but they complement each other perfectly. And while Bracken has gotten super dark as a character, there is some hope at the end he will be able to reclaim some of his previous happiness. The external conflicts are nicely done - enough to keep things exciting, but not overwhelming. The only thing about this book that made me unhappy was realizing there are only two stories left to tell. I don't want to see the Mercury and Phoenix packs go!! We can always hope for some spinoffs.

First off, Dante and Jaime were my favorite couple in the Phoenix Pack series, and now they are having a baby! Yay for them!
When we first met Madisyn, I thought she might be partnered with Dominic, but I guess we’ll have to wait a little longer to see him fall.
I felt bad for bracken and all that happened to him, but I was glad to see Madisyn bring him back to life. Of course it’s also good to see an honest, independent, strong woman meet her match too. As always this author brings to life two great characters, and I can’t wait to read more.

I loved this novel. Honestly this is another great novel in this series. I love this author! I love that when I read her novels in this series you get to check in with characters from previous novels. This novel grabbed me from the very first page and I did not want to put it down. I love the dialogue and the banter. This author does a fantastic job keeping it real but at the same time making the reader laugh out loud. Loved it. The chemistry was hot, I loved that the characters were flawed but loved each other enough to work through their problems. I can't wait to see what this author has in store for her next novel. I loved this one and I am looking forward to her next.

So I thought both heroes had sweltering hot sexual chemistry. I liked that the feline was tough and didn't let the wolf dominate her. The wolf was your typical alpha, protective shifter who in spite of his inner battles learns to trust and love again.
For those who love dominant, feral alpha males and a kick ass feline shifter, this one is for you.

It's no secret that I'm this author's fan. I adore her PNR books, from great plots to great characters. It's a full package. So when I had the chance to get my hands on this book, I was stoked. I knew I was in for a treat. And once I started reading the story, I simply couldn't put it down. I even believe I finished it in one sitting. And if that doesn't convince you to read this book, the characters sure will. I adored both main characters and of course also the characters from previous books. There was no unnecessary drama between Madisyn and Bracken. They knew where they stood as individuals and what they had to do to make their relationship work. Both had to overcome their past demons and there were ups and downs, like in any other normal relationship and that's what made me fall in love with them. Their love was believable, since they didn't rush things and thankfully you didn't get the insta-love that is so common in PNR books. Sure, at times it's fun to read about that type of love but for this story I don't believe it would've worked. As per usual, you also get a healthy dose of action, so there's no chance for boredom.
All in all, this is a nice addition to The Mercury Pack series.

I love this world. Suzanne always amazes me with the different relationships and different kinds of weres she comes up with. Madisyn is awesome. I loved her. I have loved Bracken for a while, his story just made me fall deeper. These two needed the other and are the perfect match. I could not put this book down. I found myself laughing often while reading this book. There were times I felt angry and upset while reading this, but any emotions I felt, I was entirely invested in this story. This was a good read. I really enjoyed this couple. She is so fierce, him being a little broken and an alpha, but they bicker and get each other perfectly.
I cannot wait for the future books for either pack. There are a few characters I am patiently waiting for them to find their HEA too.

I am so in love with this "Mercury Pack" and the "Phoenix Pack" series, that I am actually scared they will come to end one day ... I think I literally screamed when this one landed on my kindle :P

As much as I want to read Dominic's story, I was also very curious about Bracken...especially since we found out in the last book what happend to his family. My heart broke for the big dude...

Thankfully there is this awesome feline around, who is making him feel like himself again...

Madysin and Bracken have been bantering together for a very long time and both of them are shocked, when in a moment of vulnarability they find out, they are actually true mates...

I love Suzanne Wright's heroines...they are strong and awesome and I definitely had a little girl crush on Madisyn. Damn.. but she kicked some ass !!! Thankfully the men in these series also love strong women, and so even though they are very protective...they are also very supportive ;)

I would not advice anyone, to read these books as stand alone's. All the characters are reoccuring and the two series also cross over. Take my advice and read them in order...all of them, you won't be sorry.

I for one can't wait until the next one comes out... I am greedy like that :P

If anyone ever asks me for a PNR recommendation Suzanne Wright is always my answer because I am obsessed with her shifter series. Every book just sucks me in to this world as if I'm living with the Packs, and it is an amazing experience. Echoes of Fire was no different and I instantly felt connected to the characters from page one. It's crazy how realistic Ms. Wright can make her books feel and yet it's the most unrealistic genre's out there.

When she started bringing in different types of shifter's into her books I was a little apprehensive since wolf shifters are my go-to reads and what I like the most. But after reading this book I am firmly on the different-breed's side. Pallas cats are bad ass and definitely hold their own against the wolf shifters.

Bracken surprised me only because his character was so different in his own book than when we were first introduced to him. But the changes were completely understandable and I loved the emotions he brought to the story. Dealing with such a tragic loss was really hard on him and I was so happy to Madisyn with him when he needed someone like her the most. She didn't coddle him or try to pity him in anyway, instead she just acted like things were normal and as the book moved along the change in Bracken because of that was evident.

I loved these two together and also I just have to say Madisyn is one of my favorite heroine from this author. She was crazy and bad ass and a complete loon sometimes but it was so fun to read about. Hands down, one of my favorite stories from this author and one I can't wait to re-read.

We got a snippet of Bracken’s tragedy in Wild Hunger, so I was eager to learn more. To go through his trauma with him was heart wrenching. Now to the present and Madisyn, and what a character she is. Spunky, independent, caring and vulnerable all rolled into one. I loved the dynamic between them. She had such insecurities regarding her and Bracken and watching him breakdown her defences was a joy to read. As always there was an intricate plot with twists. Great supporting times with secondary characters, especially the kids. This book from the series is another knock out and just gets better with each book. Suzanne’s writing just pulls you in and keeps a strong grip. Absolutely wonderful which I’m sure Suzanne’s readers will beg for more!

HOLLY FREAKING WOW!!!

I was SO very lucky in getting this early in exchange for a review and I have never been so happy. This book was by far the best book with the best shifters. I didn't think you could get any better after the Margay Shifters, but I have to say PALLAS CATS FREAKING RULE!!! Best shifter to ever be written (and I have read a lot of books). I cannot say to much because I do not want to spoil anything, but this book will be an amazing read. It got better with each chapter. The character progression was great, the story line was fantastic and as I said before and I cannot say it enough, PALLAS CATS ARE EPIC!! I highly recommend this book. You will also meet a character called Vinnie and I freaking LOVE him.

And the last thing I will say, is that one scene near the end of the book was soooo funny, I was crying, stomach cramping, belly laughing it was just so funny. The scene was one of the wolves ran forward to help in the fight with the bears and *laughing again* he stops because a bear goes stumbling past COVERED in Pallas cats *snort laughing* BEST SCENE EVER! I can just imagine it LOL

This is worth the Pre-Order, best five stars ever given.
