A very good read. I really cared about the characters and how the book was going to end. Emotional with laughter and tears.

This is a heartwarming tale about true friendship and going that extra mile for someone.

It is a well written, delightful story about two friends, Iris and Terry who embark on a road trip from Dublin to Zurich so that MS stricken Iris can end her life.

If you liked stories like Eleanor Olliphant, then you will probably like this one too.

Highly recommended!

This is a story of friendship. True friendship.
Iris has MS and has decided to leave everything behind and go to Zurich to end her life. Terry, her friend, discovers she is missing and goes after her. Only problem is she has her Dad with her and he has dementia.
This will have you laughing and crying and perhaps being glad that you have a friend like Terry.

An emotional heart rending journey, Terry her best friend iris and terrys dad set out on a long emotional journey from Dublin to Switzerland ! An unlikely trio, terry a distracted wife and mother, her father eugene suffering from dementia and iris with multiple sclerosis! Undertaking such a journey tests terrys and iris friendship to the limit showing the depth of their relationships and the sacrifices they need to make, although this could be depressing both ms and dementia are portrayed in a sensitive gentle manner and much laughter and happiness is obvious even though this is a very uncomfortable journey to make! A thought provoking sensitive read.
