At first I thought this may be an interesting book to pick up occasionally when I had a free minute else waiting for something; how wrong I was. It's so interesting I ended up staying up late one night to read and then as soon as I woke the next morning I picked it up to read again. The facts about the different insects are really interesting and I've learnt things I never knew. I really appreciated the authors writing style also as it's not written as just fact after fact. It's written in a very conversational manner and feels as though you're having a tour through the natural history museum with a guide. The 1 criticism I have, and it's only a minor thing, is I'd have liked more pictures as I found myself turning to Google each time she referenced a new critter so I can see what it looks like
