As a crocheter and knitter, I'm not sure why I thought C2C would be intimidating. This book broke down the basics and everything was laid out in easy-to-understand terms.
The patterns are very modern - so often the C2C things I see are for kids (nothing wrong with that, just nice to see something else!) I really liked the chalet/Scandi designs and the ponchos. The only one that got a "huh??" was the SUPER bulky cowl, but different strokes, etc.

I'm late to the Corner to Corner Crochet game. This was a great introduction into learning how to create crochet pieces using the "corner to corner" method. I found the book to be helpful and I can' t wait to try my hand at making something awesome.

Great and easy to follow patterns. Took me a while to try out a bunch of them and when I did, I was very happy with the results. I also refer back to this book whenever I'm starting a new C2C project.

These blankets are absolutely stunning but not for the beginner or faint of heart. I don’t think I’ll be making any but it was gorgeous to flip through.

I really did enjoy the layout of this book. I am not always a skilled crocheter. The details and instructions given in this book gave me confidence to move forward and try examples. The pictures were also very helpful and pretty! The way that the author approves crochet was refreshing and gave new life to the art.

Patterns look really lovely, but file formatting made it impossible to test any, which is quite disappointing. May pick up a physical copy - if I do, I’ll update my review.

This is a useful addition to any crochet fan's library. It describes a technique that was new to me, with clear photographs and instructions, and also has several projects to complete.

This style can be a good way to create colorful, graphic designs without having to learn complex colorwork techniques. Using basic crochet stitches you can create stunning, contemporary designs for home decor items and accessories. This is a collection of 15 modern projects all made using the C2C technique. Choose from patterns for six different afghans or blankets including a monochrome chunky throw and a beautiful Mexican style blanket. Other projects include pillows, a bathroom rug and some stunning items to wear such as a poncho, shawl and cowl.

Corner to Corner Crochet: 15 Contemporary C2C Projects was the perfect reading choice for me this weekend. I have been looking to start a new afghan, and frogged the last couple I started just because I did not really like the look or feel of them after I got a few inches in. I have always been in awe of those that take the time for serious color work in their crochet, but have never been willing to take that leap. I think with this book I am about to make that jump, because complex color work and color grams make so much more sense and seem much more accessible with the c2c technique than in more traditional stitches. The tips and tricks to help organize the colors and keep things untangled and working smoothly were wonderful and well worded. I think newer crocheters will be able to follow the instructions fairly well, and more experienced crafters will still find new and useful bits of information and inspiration to keep their minds and hooks moving along.

This is an excellent instruction book for advancing your skills as a crocheter. I could do corner to corner afghans but always did solid color rows and never got too adventurous. This book gives great instructions and illustrations to add pattern and color to your next project. 15 projects from hat, to poncho to blanket with very basic skills. These projects go very quickly and offer almost instant gratification for beginner or advanced worker. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

My husband taught me how to make granny squares, but I’ve never learned any other crochet techniques. This book inspired me to push myself a little further! With corner-to corner-crochet, you work diagonally from one corner of the project to the other. I immediately fell in love with the Inverse Throw on the cover. It's reflective of the style and quality of projects in this book.

The beginning chapters introduce the technique with thorough instructions and close-up photos. I especially appreciated the sections on color changes and weaving ends, skills I tend to struggle with. This book includes 15 projects with modern designs: 5 blankets, 3 pillows, 2 ponchos, a washcloth, a rug, a cowl, a scarf, and a poncho. The skill level, based on the number of color changes and working bobbins, is shown at the beginning of each project. There are 5 beginner projects, 7 intermediate projects, and 3 advanced projects, so there’s something for everyone. It would be fun to progress your way through the book. I was excited to see that my favorite projects, the Inverse Throw (cover) and the Frosted Window Throw, were beginner-level projects! The designs are fresh and modern and the gridded patterns spoke to my patchwork quilting heart! The full-page photos of each project give the crafter a good idea of the final result. I recommend this book to confident beginners and those who are interested in learning this technique.

I'm a self-taught crocheter and found this title delightful.

The designs appealed to me and I appreciated the diversity of difficulty in the patterns presented.

I've just started to make blankets using the C2C method, so the basics were familiar to me before reading. This book contains not only patterns, but tips and a website that helps you design your own pattern, which is great. Some of the projects seemed a little complicated until I read how to actually do them. The book does a great job of breaking down the process so anyone can follow along.

Beautiful designs, from the front page all the way through and unstandable and easy to follow instructions and some beautiful pictures of the designs. This book makes you want to get crocheting straight away to create something beautiful out of the book. This book is delightful.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy from F+W Media for my unbiased opinion of the book. This book has great graphs and row by row instructions and patterns from easy to difficult. I have more than basic crocheting knowledge this book was a struggle for me. I like books that challenge me and this one is perfect for that. I made every blanket on the easiest level and taking a break before I attack the next level. This book is great for an experienced crocheter but I would not give to someone just starting out.

This book was phenomenal! The pictures were beautiful and Coppom gave plenty of tips and tricks to make C2C crochet so much easier for the beginner! I wish I had known several of these tricks when I first started!

I adore this book. While reviewing my Advance Reader Cope for netgalley, I couldn’t resist grabbing out my crochet hook to learn the technique as I read. The instructions were clear and detailed. I am working on a blanket right now and it’s going great. The patterns are fun and all use yarns that are easy to source and inexpensive. Corner to corner crochet is an awesome technique and much different than regular crochet. It works up fast and making the little tiles is addictive. The author does a great job explaining the technique in a photo tutorial type manner. I highly recommend this book!

One of the trends in crochet-land these past few years is corner-to-corner crochet, a technique of using sets of three (half) double crochet stitches to create a squares and working in a diagonal of squares to create a big canvas that offers so many possibilities. When I see them I can’t help imagine the possibilities of taking any pixilated pattern and converting it to a blanket.

The book Corner to Corner Crochet by Jess Coppom explains the technique well, with illustrations step-by-step. After a detailed explanation of the technique in double crochet and half double crochet stitches, including increasing, decreasing and color changes, there are fifteen patterns. Of course there are lots of blankets, but also some pillows, a cowl, a beanie, a rug, a scarf and a poncho.

This is a nice book to get some more information about corner to corner crochet, and have some starting patterns to try it out. The patterns are well described both in words and with a pattern image and all information you could want is given.

I am more of a knitter and I have only very basic crochet skills, which seems to be about the right level for this book. This is an inspirational book with beautiful pictures and stunning patterns. I expected the book to mainly contain square items like scarves and throws, which was true, but there also a surprising beanie hat. I will definitely try out a few of these! My one criticism would be to have more medium sized projects.

Corner to Corner Crochet by Jess Coppom is a beginner's guide to the C2C technique with 15 projects of varying levels included. I've never heard of C2C until this book and could understand her tutorial. I tried it out with thin yarn and a size 2mm hook and could successfully crochet a small bit, the only thing that stopped me was the color changing part. I had problems trying to crochet over another colored yarn to hide it even for a simple project. She didn't include any photo tutorials for that, so either it's because of that or it's just me.

I love how detailed the instructions were, there were types, weight and color of yarn; hook size; measurements and size of finished product; gauge; notes and colored graphs to help you to better understand where the pieces fit.

The projects in this book include baby blankets, throws, a beanie, pillows, washcloth, rug, cowl, scarf and ponchos. Some of the designs are ordinary-looking and others beautifully detailed. My favorites were the 'Wee Wanderer Baby Blanket', 'Ski Lodge Pillow' and 'Endless Sky Poncho'.

Corner to Corner Crochet is worth getting for its projects and introduction to C2C crochet, only thing I'd recommend is to check out a color changing video tutorial online if you find yourself confused.
