This is an adorable collection of Christmas stories for those who love wholesome and romantic reads perfect for the holiday season. Each of the three stories is based on something different, but still, carry the same happy and heartwarming feeling of the holidays within it. I highly recommend these if you want a sweet story or three for the season!

This collection includes books 2, 3, and 4 of the series. I didn't feel hampered at all by not having read book 1. The stories don't rely on information from the previous installment to carry each plot forward, they are simply linked by geography or family relationship. Each couple finds and acts on mutual attraction quickly, but faces a suspenseful conflict. The antics of a cute snowy pup injected humor. I liked that the angst in each story is regarding the conflict and not the relationship. I could have done without the sexy bits.
I voluntarily read an advanced review copy provided by Netgalley and I offer my honest opinion in response.

Three heartwarming and lovable stories that would tug at your heartstrings, filled with a lotta puppy love going around. The pathway to love is marred with a few obstacles which are nothing that a few willing and loving souls can’t overcome. A true cozy romantic package filled with true love and heroes of all kind.

Three wonderful stories all tied together by a puppy These three stories all have different storylines but the common thread is that puppy that causes it all to happen. The three books are
FROSTY THE SNOWMAN
Hali and Terry are stranded in the Alaskan wilderness and must rely on one another to survive when a puppy causes even more dramas hen it becomes a matter of life and death
SNOW PUP
Shawna Mallory has just rescued a runway and his pup that won't leave is side now she is gunning for the father that deserted him but is it all that it seems. John Read McCrae just wants to find the son that a vengeful wife took from him and he may find more than he bargained for when they finally meet again
FIND ME A HOME
Sergeant Harley Carlton is having a rough night first he attended a car accident where everyone died except a young girl that thinks he is her father and now he has to go save a wheelchair bound woman from her rioting sibling with the help of a puppy. Can one man fall in love twice in one night

Great fun novella length stories that are great for this time of the year

The premise of these books was interesting. They are definitely very light reading meant for a cold and wet Sunday afternoon. They can be read in one go as they are not taxing at all. If you like easy fluff then these are for you. That said I struggled with book 3. I wanted to find out the story of the female puppy and whilst she was mentioned in book 2 it seemed odd that book 3 was a different puppy. Secondly I didn't like that the "hero" of the book used offensive language to describe the dog and the " heroine" found this acceptable. I am not a prude but using obscenity in this context is not called for.

Three well written books. I enjoyed the plots, characters and the author’s writing. Pets, children and romance I couldn’t ask for more ina book. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for my digital arc. This is my unbiased review.

Honestly, I felt like the entire series was a bunch of plot submissions for a Hallmark movie that just never quite made the cut. The characters are even just sketches of people, missing real depth. Also, each is far more a novella than an actual book, and you could easily do any one of them as a standalone.
My individual feedback:

SNOW PUP
SNOW PUP is about a boy lost in the foster system, the puppy who saves his life, the cop who finds them both and takes them in, and the father who always wanted him but had been denied his parental rights for far too long.

So many great things not quite becoming what they could be. A predictable but still heart catching plot that could have been fleshed out better. Characters that felt like they were plucked from a Hallmark movie. Dialogue that started off strong only to fade into cheesy. And the one sex scene was definitely made for the PG crowd and yet still managed to disappoint on that level.

FIND ME A HOME
FIND ME A HOME features a police officer who comes to the rescue of two females on the same day and falls in love with both of them. One is a three year old little girl, blinded by the accident that made her an orphan; the other is a young woman who is wheel chair bound and being attacked by her younger brother.

The thing with each of these books is that they very much feel like they’re Hallmark holiday movie rejects. They are as predictable as those, yet the writing is not strong enough to make it. And how on Earth does this one town have multiple police officers taking in abandoned kids all at once?

The only saving grace seems to be the puppies. They remain adorable.

FROSTY THE SNOWMAN
I'll be honest. I can't tell you what this one was about. I got about a chapter in and decided I couldn't tolerate the male lead's almost whininess about his lot in life. (At least, that's how his character read to me).

HOLIDAY HEARTWARMERS by Mimi Barbour are three short stories, all connected. They're connected by three abandoned puppies. The stories are sweet and all find love. The puppies get lots of hugs and get a forever home!

Holiday Heartwarmers is a wonderful trio of festive tales about three adorable abandoned puppies and the love they bring to three cute kids at Christmas; I was just a little disappointed that the set didn't start with book one. All stories are a fast read (as they are all novella length) and the plot and pace for each is perfect. I also liked the romantic yet sweet cover, as it initially captured my attention before I had even read the blurb. The perfect Christmas read to make you warm and fuzzy inside, and all your woes seem insignificant.

A puppy will lead the way to love in this truly heartwarming series of three books in the “Holiday Heartwarmers” series. In Snow Pup (#2 of the series) we meet Deputy Shawna Mallory as she fights for teen Billy McCrae who ran away from an abusive foster home. His father, who had been out of the country and unaware that his son was in foster care, wants to reconnect and establish a home for Billy…with Shawna? In Find Me a Home (#3) we meet Amelia Lloyd and Sgt. Harley Carlton. Amelia is the owner of Belle who is the mother of the three puppies. Amelia’s half brother has lost his way and Amelia and Harley hope to get him on the right path. Frosty the Snowman (#4) begins with the plane Terry Carlton is flying making an emergency landing in the Alaskan wilderness. On board is Hali Gibson and a puppy she is to deliver. Will they survive in the bitter cold until the storm passes? I had already bought the first book in the series “Please Keep Me” with Reed Carlton, and the fifth book in the series “Love of My Life” - both wonderful reads as well. I received a free copy of books #2, 3, & 4 and voluntarily chose to give an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

DNF

I don't know if it was the fact the first two stories played pretty fast and loose with the law, or of the child abuse of the first story was compounded by a woman in a wheelchair being attacked by her step brother...

Actually it was that the blurb mentions that Amelia is in a wheelchair at all. Before you raise a hue and cry shes not in it because she has a disability, she's in it because of an injury. A distinction the blurb doesn't make but that our "hero" Harley is overjoyed about (not that he knows why it makes him feel relieved).

Add in the fact there's soooo many instances of the cops in this town happily disregarding proper procedure...

And I'll be honest Gerda bothered me A LOT. You're telling me she couldn't be BOTHERED to look deeply into John's easy to find out history beyond a few police reports?

Though sweet holy books - did no one check the ex-wive's boyfriend's ID when they booked him? Did no one know what John - who apparently lived in what seemed to be a small town - looked like? Did the ever so helpful neighbor lady think to TELL THE POLICE what they were seeing?

Basically this book did the opposite of warming my heart.
