Bridesmaids is a lighthearted delightful read that will make you laugh and cry. The book is told from Jane's perspective and follows the lives of 5 old school friends starting from when Rachel tells Jane she's engaged all the way up to the wedding. Not everything is as it seems with the girls.
A very fun story!

I’ve read a lot of Zara’s books but was a little disappointed with this one. There were a lot of characters to keep up with and I guessed who the father of the baby was. The storyline was good, but I did skim read a lot of the middle trying the place the characters. I would read Zara’s next book as I normally really enjoy them and can’t put them down. Thank you for accepting my request

This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story. The side characters were such an integral part of this story as well. This is the love story i needed to read at this time. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you

Bridesmaids is the lighthearted read that we all need right now.

Bridesmaids is about five friends around Rachel’s wedding. The story is told from Jane’s perspective, we follow the story from when Rachel tells Jane she’s getting married right up to the wedding day and in the meantime we learn about the dynamic of Rachel, Jane, Maddie, Sally and Beth.

The five girls are old school friends, although recently they haven’t all been that involved in each other’s lives that is until Rachel brings them all together to be her bridesmaids. Beth, a new single mum, isn’t a bridesmaid but is involved with the planning.

Things aren’t as it all seems though for each of the girls and there are many secrets that are unraveled along the way, along with some mix ups.

I really like the characters involved and I think that they are all relatable and that we can probably see each of them in our own friendship circles. There are also the men in the book, Freddie, Michael, Andy and Jack, and again we probably have come across each of them in our own lives. And I think we all need to find our own Freddie.

This book is pure escapism. It’s fun and lighthearted with many laugh-out-loud moments. I think my favourite scene is when they go bridesmaid dress shopping.

A wedding, love, laughter and friendship….what more could you want.

In “Bridesmaids” by Zara Stoneley we meet Rachel, the bride and her bridesmaids. But there is a lot going on in this group. Sally married Maddie’s first love, who she is still not over (and is an usher), Beth is a new mom who won’t reveal who the dad is and then there is Jane, who not to long ago was dumped by her fiancée at her bachelorette party (and who will also be an usher). When you throw all of these friends into the planning of a wedding, especially when alcohol is involved you never know what will come out the other side.

A super fun fast read that has a lot of fun side stories and a Freddie. I received this book through Net Galley and this is my hones review.

A laugh out loud read. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Thank you Netgalley for another fantastic read.

Bridesmaids is a fast paced contemporary fiction with moments that really will make me laugh out loud. What more could you need from a book. It also is very touching, heartwarming and emotional parts that really hit home. Filled with wit and crossed wires, it's a tale of the strong, long lasting friendships made by women, relationships to last a lifetime with romantic men thrown in too for good measure.

A perfect summer easy read that leaves you feeling upbeat with the ending to warm your heart. I'm so looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Thank you Netgalley for my copy of Bridesmaids by Zara Stoneley.
This is a highly entertaining story of a group of high school friends who come together years later to become bridesmaids for their friends wedding. . These women are of course happy to be reunited to celebrate Rachaels wedding however coming back together after so many years apart isn't quite as easy as they'd have hoped - think old feuds, think drama and some very crazy antics.
I loved reading about their friendships because despite all the craziness they all have a lot of shared history and ultimately they will be there for each other no matter what. This book will have you feeling happy, sad and uplifted. Some very humorous scenes that will have you laughing out loud. A really lovely read, one perfect for the beach.

Jane is struggling to make her career a reality. As the brains behind a successful social media influencer, she spends all her energy trying to please her self-absorbed boss. Things are just as stressful in her personal life. Her fiance has a change of heart on the night of her hen party, crushing Jane's dreams for happily-ever-after. Luckily, she has her flatmate and best friend Freddie to help her keep her life on track. The two share nearly everything. Too bad they're only friends.

Meanwhile wedding bells are ringing for Jane's bestie, Rach. A little secret about her friend's not-so-devoted future hubby spoils Jane's enthusiasm for the big day. Jane puts her animosity aside and assumes her position as a bridesmaid along with Rach's childhood friends. But all is not rosy with the ladies. Maddie and Sally are in love with the same guy, and their other friend Beth is a new mum with a mystery man. Will Jane remain tight-lipped or will she spill the beans and risk ruining her best friend's magical wedding day?

Bridesmaids is a hilarious take on the drama and heartache associated with a close group of childhood friends. The witty repartee and comical scenes make this delightful read fun and flirty. The best part is the sweet relationship between Jane and Freddie. This is my first book by this author, and it won't be my last. Stoneley is a gifted writer who knows how to deliver a highly entertaining read.
