I enjoyed the previous two Whispers Woods books although it’s been a while since I read them so I had forgotten a little. The list of the cast members at the start of the book was a great help in refreshing my memory although the story itself would still have been fine to follow even if you hadn’t read the previous books. The main character in this book is Gloria and she is Eve Devon’s best character yet, her lack of filter on many occasions was hilarious yet there’s a lot of depth to her character too. Offsetting Gloria is Seth, on the surface a flaky character but underneath has a lot more maturity than anyone, except perhaps Gloria, give him credit for. The storyline itself is fairly straightforward, planning for Seth’s brother & Gloria’s boss/friend, but as this is a very character led story it works well. There’s a great balance of serious and humorous and overall this is a very fun & relaxing read.

Having not read the first two books in this series, I still very much enjoyed the book. Light and whimsical it was a great quick read for me!

I really enjoyed this book. So much so that I want to read the two books that came before it. While you can definitely read this book on its own I think it's more enjoyable if you have the full story. I really enjoyed the characters and thought that the story was well written. Will definitely keep your attention all the way through!

This book has many positive things about it. The author does a fantastic job of giving many details about the scene that is unfolding. In my mind, I could picture everything she was telling me.. As I mentioned earlier, the book starts out as a slow burn, although by the middle of the book, the pace picks up quickly. Tragedy strikes, and in the aftermath A horrendous lie is told; that sets in motion a series of unfortunate events that will change everyone's life forever.

Had a little trouble getting into this story. It is the first I've read, and this is the third book, so that may have something to do with it. Didn't like the characters too much, as the silliness of youth does not attract me like it did (in my 50s), so that also may have made an impact. An easy read, but not one I would read again. Would recommend, especially if you've read the others in the series.

This was such a sweet romance! I found the character of Gloria really endearing and relatable, and I always love a wedding-adjacent story. This is the first I've read by Eve Devon and it made me want to read more from her. Her writing is fun and engaging and kept me invested throughout. Looking forward to her other books and definitely recommend this read!

A lovely summery read. Easy to read and very enjoyable. I liked getting to know all of the characters and loved that it was set around wedding. I've read a few by Eve Devon before and they're always lovely to read so would recommend you give this one a try!
