A Beautiful Voice is the first novel I read from this author. It was an interesting read with enough mystery to keep me interested. Enjoyed the storyline and the cast of characters.

Robert Lane writes some of my favorite mystery/suspense novels. Jake, Morgan and Katherine are the main recurring characters and are multidimensional so the reader can readily engage with the plots through their experiences. A Beautiful Voice is no different in the predator-prey aspect in Mr. Lane's books. Jake is on the hunt for 3 missing children in this book. He needs to find them before they become further collateral damage in their parents' flight from drug cartels.

Thanks to the author, Mason Alley Publishing and Netgalley.com for the opportunity to read and provide an honest review of this work.

A Beautiful Voice is my first novel by the author. The story is suspenseful and intriguing. It's also confusing because a lot is going on. The plot unfolds at a good pace. The characters are clever and complex. It's a good read overall but a bit more complicated than I like. I see the appeal for readers who like mystery fiction. Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you bet Netgalley for the advanced copy.

Unfortunately i did not enjoy this book. I tried 3 separate times to read it. There was just too many words, and not enough substance. Too much detail, but not enough focused story. I did not finish, stopped at 38%.
