I loved the first book in this series but I could not get into this final instalment. It covers serious issues and I just didn't find that amusing. It felt pedestrian and the story was slow moving.

Beautiful instalment in this ongoing gorgeous tale which simultaneously breaks my heart and fixes it all at the same time. I adore the way Simsion makes you feel so deeply for his characters and how invested you become from the first page. Recommend!

I have loved reading about Don and Rosie. I loved this series, that I put off reading the last book because I didn’t want it to end. It was a great conclusion to the trilogy. It definitely lives up to the previous books.

I love this series. I love this book. I will say it is probably the weakest one in the series but I am so glad to have read this instalment. I didn’t think another hook was going to be released so I was so happy to find that this was not the case. I was so happy to find this book!

I feel like the author needs to stop there and not produce anymore books in this series so it does not go over the top. I think the characters have been given justice and I love where their lives are now. Anything else I think would spoil it.

I now have the complete series which take pride of place on my shelf! I am so grateful for this. I will definitely recommend this series to my friends which I have already started to do.

Love it and of course it did not disappoint. It takes an extremely clever author to draw you in to a storyline like this and create a page turner. even if this is not your usual genre give it a go I guarantee you will not be disappointed

Another brilliant instalment. This is so well written, and honest, and shows a completely different way of thinking and mindset. And it is thoroughly entertaining at the same time. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

I really enjoyed this wrapping up of the trilogy, with wacky hijinks, cocktails and a thoughtful exploration of the pros and cons of having a diagnosis / special education needs statement.

The perfect round-up for the Rosie trilogy. Graeme Simsion has such a great way of making us laugh, whilst also making us take a moment to think. I’m sad to be saying goodbye to Don Tillman, but I can’t wait to read more from this brilliant author!

The Rosie result is the third book of the Rosie series by Graeme Simson, and it just as good and as funny as the other two books.

I struggled at the last instalment of this book but hoped that the final one would bring it round for me - sadly it didn't and i was only just able to finish this after months of trying.

The third in this series following Don, with his wife Rosie and his now 11 year old son Hunter as they move back to Australia for Rosie’s job as they navigate parenting their son settling into a new school and the challenges he faces in fitting in. This book reflects on autism and the concept of that ‘diagnosis’ more than the two previous books in the series and I found it a great read, reflecting on how we parent, how we accept people that are different to ourselves for who they are and finding their way in the world rather than expecting them to change. For those of us who've been with Don from the start, this is a bittersweet read.
Self-sabotage or simply misunderstood, we are never sure, but Don ends up taking a leave of absence from his job after a complaint about his unorthodox approach to teaching. He ends up moving his family, trying to open up a cocktail bar, and dealing with what he fondly calls the Hudson Project.
Hudson, his son, is in his last year's of primary and is definitely having a tough time. His school are convinced he's autistic and are pushing for the parents to get a diagnosis. Hudson is who he is, and Rosie and Don think he can be helped to manage some of his social awkwardness.
While there are some moments that had me laughing at the absurdity, I was crying inside as some of it seems all too familiar.
I love these characters. Some of the exploration of attitudes towards those on the autistic spectrum and how they're treated made me angry, but it is definitely a starting point for people to consider.
