Past loves and second chances are always fun to read. To see where an author will take a couple is always fun. This author did not disappoint.

If there was a reading group like this around heck, I would have joined it a long time ago. At Em Dash the combo book store owned by Kali and bakery owned by Val Garcia two best friends.

Although Kali is on vacation in Kenya leaving poorly stressed out Travis to run it. He is in way over his head. Not to mention in the throes of finals at the college. Bad timing on Val’s friends part not to mention the pre-holiday season, some friend. But new boyfriend yeah well, we all see how that works. LOL.

Here is the kicker, Kali made Val promise she would help Travis with the guidance she is not prepared for his daily freak outs along with her own. You see for eight years Val has held a secret from everyone about her past. As the town sees it, she’s a saint.

So, since the anniversary of her ex’s, Taylor death and her true love ex-Spencer’s mom’s death, dying in the same accident. Her guilt feels endless. Not that she caused the accident but that she ever broke up with Spence that year and dated Taylor at all.

But at sixteen you make dumb choices. Now, will her and Spence back in the same town together it’s hard not to stare. When in the same room or area together. He does all he can to avoid her.

Until one day he walks into her bakery to ask her questions about a case. It didn’t go well at all. Then they are thrown together to do a PSA campaign for safety for the stretch of highway where Spence’s mom and Taylor were killed. The second day was harsh. He saw Mick the new sexy firefighter walks her to the radio station, and he was not happy.

But when he sees her out to lunch with Mick yeah not any better. There is never a dull moment with the characters at the bookstore/bakery and with Spencer’s brothers. Then you add Val and Spence’s sexually charged banter and bedroom romps and Yup, it is good!

TASTY LOVE (Bookstore Love Book 2) by Sarah Nego and Christi Snow was a solid book and a one-time enjoyable read, so 3.5 stars from me.

The positive
- Val - as for the first time I actually saw parts of myself in a book character, I doubt I would have ended up in her situation, however, personality wise we are actually similar.
- Murdock brothers – their interactions and dynamics were fun, entertaining and at times sweet with their protectiveness and brotherly love
- Drama free – there wasn’t unnecessary, annoying nor over the top drama, which is very important for me in contemporary books, this is a reason for that extra half a star
- Chemistry between Val and Spencer
- Sexy times – not too many and not over the top but just right
- About last 20% of the book – fast paced and even more interesting than the rest of the story

On a bit less positive side
- Spencer – I liked him, but sadly I didn’t fall for him like Val did
- I wanted more angst, sass and intensity

The negative
- At times I felt bored, as the story was a tad bit on a slow side and lacked some more emotions
- I couldn’t connect to both MCs, therefore, I was less involved and didn’t care as much

Overall, it was fun, sweet and tasty romance read, which I enjoyed and would recommend to those who love romance books as this was a good one, simply I prefer a bit more angst RomCom than general romance stories.
I would be interested in love stories of Spencer’s brothers.

Tasty Love is the second book in the Bookstore Love series and tells the story of Val and Spencer.

Tasty Love is an amazing sequel but I also want to say that you don’t have to read the first book. You can read Tasty Love and Crazy Love as stand-alone, but if you plan on reading both of the books then you should read Crazy Love first and then Tasty Love.

I couldn’t get enough of the main characters in Crazy Love, and the same happened in Tasty Love. Both books are so well written and fast paced. Crazy Love and Tasty Love are amazing Romance reads and these books make you feel so much better!

I really loved Val and Spencer because they already had a history. Their history ended badly and now they have to work together for a campaign. Will they be capable of being near each other? Or will their hearts get broken again?

I wish that Sarah Nego and Christi Snow could write another book in the Bookstore Love series because it’s an amazing series! I’m definitely going to check out Sarah Nego and Christi Snow’s other books!

Oooo I love second chance romances.
This one was soo good.
Val and Spencer have very rocky history. But they finally got their HEA. It was 8 years in the making and it didn’t have to last that long all because of some lies.
I really enjoyed this story. I'm looking forward to reading more from these authors!

Yay, another story from Christi Snow and Sarah Negro. This one is about Val, the co-owner of bookstore Em-Dash. But where Kaliope has a secret about her identity, Val also has some secrets about her past. At sixteen she trusted the wrong guy, ending up hurting the love of her life: Spencer. And since he has turned up eight years later in their hometown, he hasn't visited Em-Dash yet. All of Spencer's colleagues have. Because they crave Val's cookies and pastries. But Spencer doesn't want to have anything to do with his former sweetheart. Until they are forced to work together on a project for road safety. Since Spencer's mother and Val's fiancé where killed on the same road, the authorities throw Spencer and Val together for a marketing campaign. Being near Val is nearly Spencer's undoing. He doesn't want to fall in love all over again with the girl who broke his heart years ago. But Val isn't the same girl as she was before. And maybe she had her reasons for breaking up with him. Get a taste of their feelings in this wonderful read. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Spencer and Val were high school sweethearts, madly in love with one another. Till 1 bad decision by Val separated them, breaking their hearts in the process. Now 8 years later they have been given a second chance. Will Spencer be able to forget old hurts to give their HEA a chance ?
I enjoyed this book better than Crazy Love. The characters are very well developed and invoked an emotional reaction. I loved the relations , the way it developed between Spencer and Val, the bond between the Murdock brothers and despite everything the things Val does for Taylor’s mom. I hope this is not the end of the series. Would love to read the Murdock brothers find their HEAs .

So glad that Val and Spencer finally got their HEA. It was 8 years in the making and it didn’t have to last that long all because of some lies. Val is one hard working woman. She’s the master baker in town and her baked goods bring all the boys to the yard. Spencer has...brothers. It would be cool to have stories about them. They all seem very yummy. I really enjoyed this story.

Loved this book, the story of Spence and Val.
They were together years ago, until she dumped him by text. Now he tries to avoid her whenever possible - until they are thrown back together by a road safety campaign and fored to spend time together. Will they take a second chance on each other?

Really looking forward to more books from these authors.

This is the first book I have read by this author. It easily stand alone though I could tell there were other books in the series. It was well writtend and I liked all the characters though at times I was frustrated with how long the author took to get the two together and get to the reason they broke up many years earlier.

This is a love triangle sorta story. It stars Val, Spencer and a young boy who died, Taylor. In high school Val and Spencer were in love. Then he goes away for a weekend and she dumps him by text message. The next year she dates Taylor until he dies in a car accident and kills Spencer's mom. They blame the highway they were on.

Now its ten years later and Val is still in love with Spencer and her him, but he doesn't trust her and so they have a big hate relationship. Until they are forced to work together on making the road that killed their loved ones a safer highway.

Taylor was a very complicated character and Val's relationship with him was very complicated. This was a really well writtend story that I enjoyed though I felt the author dragged out the truth way too much. But it also was a story I could not put down.

This is the second book in this series, you do not have to read the first book to know what is happening, but why would you not want to? This is Val's book (part owner of Em-dash) with her love interest Spencer one of the Murdoch boys and since I have been reading from the very beginning starting with the Naked Brews series, I want all I can get from a Murdoch. So Val and Spencer were high school sweethearts but Val broke up with Spencer by text (cold) and he was broken hearted and on top of that his mother was killed by the guy that stole Val from him, yes it was an accident. Val has always loved Spencer and she always hoped they could get back together but Spencer wants nothing to do with her yet he loves her still. When they are both coerced on working on a project together they start warming towards each other and Spencer gets the shock of his life. Everything he thought was not what it seemed..Grab a copy and Enjoy!

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author.(netgalley) I voluntarily gave my own views and opinions.

Val doesn't take her man's crap, “if you ever talk to me that way again, you can kiss your balls goodbye because I will knee them so far up your *** it would take a team of double-jointed surgeons to remove them.” I liked this book, I liked Spencer.
