The Edge is the third book in the Ruby Darke series, having read the previous two I was looking forward to this one.

Five years have passed since the previous instalment. Ruby has gone into business with Kit and Daisy is about to marry Rob, Kit’s right hand man. All is going well until tragedy strikes at Rob and Daisy’s wedding: an event which turns their lives upside down. Someone is out to get them, can they discover who it is and the reason why?

The Edge is an excellent addition to this series, it has plenty of twists and turns and will keep you gripped from start to finish. I look forward to the next one.

Having read and loved the previous two books in the Ruby Darke series, I was keen to read the third instalment. As well as being reintroduced to Ruby we also again meet her children, Kit and Daisy. Whilst Kit and Ruby are still single, Daisy is about to marry Rob, who is also her Brother’s minder and best mate. The wedding preparations are complete and the ceremony has taken place, then things take a turn for the worst; and the families’ lives change for ever. Who would pull such a bold and shocking move and how is this linked to the other events? The police are investigating, but will the family solve the crimes and discover the perpetrator first?
Jessie Keane’s books are sharp, gripping and a compelling read. I happily read anything she writes without the need to read the back cover first, to see if I will like it. I always look forward to her books as they are both refreshing and captivating.

WoW.......What a come back! The Edge is the third book in the Ruby Darke series and it was just as brilliant as her first book Nameless.

Finally Ruby has her daughter Daisy and son Kit on her side. Ruby's business is going well and she couldn't be happier. Daisy is about to get married to Rob. Everything is going to plan. Tragedy strikes on the most important day of Daisy's life and puts all the family and others around her in danger.
The world around them starts to become complicated and secrets from the past that were hidden start to come out in the open.

This new book The Edge was just Brilliant and I loved every page. It's another book of her's I didn't want to end.
Looking forward to the next Ruby Darke book. Hope we don't have to wait another 4 years!!!!

The Edge is the 3rd book in the Ruby Darke series which really need to be read in order to get the story of Ruby.In this latest instalment Ruby has moved on and is now in business with her son Kit who is a known "face " in the underworld. However everything turns Ruby's world upside down at her daughter Daisy's wedding when the whole family is faced with danger like never before,Kit and Ruby must battle to find out who wants to ruin their lives and to find out who really is friend or foe ? This is an excellent addition to the series and if you enjoyed the first 2 books then you will certainly enjoy The Edge which once again marks Jessie Keane out as being up there with the best when it comes to this genre. An excellent 4 star read.
