A struggle about the struggle

There is a great book to be written about New Labour but unfortunately this is not it.
Heavy with demonstrations of the author’s knowledge of great thinkers the book was commensurately light on plot and character development. Such was the depth of the undergrowth of intellectualising that it was difficult to actually see properly into the various characters real personalities.
I stuck it out to the end but was left highly unsatisfied.
This book was provided as an advance copy by the publisher in return for an honest review.

Oh dear. Immaturity lives. Both style and content depress from the outset, with their predictability and childish perspectives. I’m afraid I couldn’t stay with it.
