A good resource for people who would like to earn some extra money while being at home. Good tips to spot the scammers from the legitimate offers. While all the information can be easily found online, it is convenient to have all that information compiled into one book.

This was an interesting book. I thought the information presented was well laid out and flowed well. I really enjoyed reading it and want to try and start implementing some of what I read.

As someone that's looking into becoming a work at home woman, I found this book very useful.

Navigating the internet looking for job offers that are not scams and ways to keep everything right is complicated so having the chance to read this book was fantastic. I admit some of the information was already known to me because I have been researching about this topic (working from/at home) for a little while but still I stand that is pretty good information to have.

I don't know if someone that has worked from home before would get that much value out of this book, besides the part about how to spot a scam but for an absolute beginner like myself, it was a great well of information. I'm sure I'll keep this book at hand on my e-reader just to check from time to time and refresh what the author said about the topic.

Some of the links she (the author) provides in the book are not completely updated but she mentions this at the beginning of the book too. At least it's a start and if you're interested you look for more yourself.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book provided by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are my own.

Good information, tips and links on what is good and what is bad in the “work from home” business.

I received this ebook copy from the publisher and NetGalley for an honest review.

This is an outstanding book for the value of its suggestions...not just a book full of links to various shady job opportunities. Well explained and full of information for anyone wanting to join the work force at home. Recommended.

Initially, people eagerly looking at this book for work-at-home solutions may be disappointed. Linking to the Twitter and Facebook accounts listed do not provide up-to-date information, and the webpage reads only, “Coming in 2019,” although the preface links to a useful website workathomefaq.com. The first chapter the number of work-at-home scams advertised all over the place. The author notes, “Scammers can get away with scamming because each scam contains a little nugget of truth,” and follows up useful information about how to distinguish between scam and legit opportunities. This book is useful for people who want to learn the ins and outs of operating a business or making money in an online sales environment, land creative gigs, jobs in the technology, education, financial, and health fields, among others.

I got this book because my partner is a Realtor/Broker and things have been slow of late. Hehas been looking into affiliate programs. I like the way she explains all of the online technical jargon. I did not realize just how many "Scamming" opportunities there are out there!
I particularly appreciated the extensive list of resources the author provided throughout. All aspects of running a successful business are well laid out in this easy to comprehend "how-to" book.
This would be a great go to book for anyone striking out on there own for the first time.

Thank you to Netgalley & BooksGoSocial for there ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have been working from home with a company for almost a year and I love it. But I have always wanted to know how I could use my Medical Billing and Coding certificate to work from home as well. This book has given me lots of insights on how to get started with it. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to work from home. Has a lot of great information for all those who inquire about it.

In this book I was hoping for some good ideas on work I could get on the side. I work from home full time but I don't think I will have time to do the other idea suggested in this book. I was hoping for more from this book. She did have some good ideas on how to spot a scam and avoid them. I was still disappointed because I was hoping for some part time ideas I could do on my off hours to just work something that was different. I will look into her idea from this book and give an update if I find out something different. *This book was given to me for free at my request from NetGalley and I provided this voluntary review.*

This title really caught my eye as my husband and I have been looking for something he could do for some extra money online. One of my fears is that we get caught up in some online scam, so this book seemed like such a resource for us to help us navigate through the online jobs market and stay away from any potential online trap.
The book is set up in an easy to follow format that we can reference down the road as well. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in pursuing a job online. This book is loaded with information!

Working at home is definitely something that I would love to explore more. Between my studies and sidehustle I am quite self-motivated and able to focus at home. So I wondered what I would learn from this book.

The answer is a decent amount. Because this so an area I have previously researched I did have an awareness of some ideas for working at home in terms of a sidehustle. The author validated my current thinking that diversification might be the key - when I say sidehustle it should really be plural. I have fingers in a few pies. Realistically I think that is important because you never know what will take off and what will just be for fun.

The ideas in the book are solid, the advice in the book is solid. This is not a get rich quick book. It reinforces that hard work will always be required. Always. And that entrepreneurs will always have a trickle (or flow) of great ideas. Honestly I had two ideas whilst writint that last sentence.

I will admit that I am not a passive reader of self-help. Which, I suppose, reinforces the message in this book that hard work is needed for success. Making change is tough and committment is needed. That's why I take notes as I read. It's easy to capture those thoughts that may otherwise be fleeting and can help focus on improvements. My mind map for this book has ideas to explore with some research to do and points to action. I've had to blur out names (isn't it amazing how others can help on your journey - make sure you trust your associates would be my only caution).

I'll come back to this mind map in the future. And be looking for the ideas that I have effected successfully!

I recommend this book for anyone interested in their own sidehustle that is not MLM. The one thing I didn't like about the book was the author's stance on MLMs. She was not successful with 3 different ones but sort of blamed herself and her expectations. But MLMs tend to be set up for failure so I'd have to respectfully disagree.

A solid 3.5 for those already working at home looking for other options. 4.5 for those at the beginning stages of working from home.

I work at home so most of the information in the book was not new to me, and really using your brain and common sense is the key to avoiding scams. However, if you are first starting out looking for work at home this can be a good resource for you.

Excellent resource for anyone wanting to work from home and/or exploring additional revenue streams for themselves. There is information on how to find and avoid scams, vet sources, and how to determine the proper opportunities for your situation. Some of the information might seem like common sense, but it certainly is there for a reason and do not ignore the advice. Virtually any work from home technique you might want to try, you can find advice and guidance to assist you on your journey.

If you're new to the world of working at home, and potential scams, then this book has a lot of good information. If you've lived out in the world for any length of time (ie, are over 20), then at least half of this book is information that you should already know. The other half goes into detail about work at home opportunities, as well as the pros and cons of each, and makes suggestions for where to find them. After reading through the entire book, I didn't find one single thing that either we hadn't already tried or had discounted due to a lack of specific skills. Some of the opportunities that are presented as real, rather than scam, are really toeing the line as well. I suppose they could be real opportunities for someone with a specific personality. The bottom line is trust your gut, use your brain, and don't get scammed.

Speaking from experience, the author cleverly turned over every stone in an exhaustive effort to supply a worry-free environment to the reader for searching out employment online. With much of the leg work done, the author offered a step-by-step tutorial that's easy to follow. The information comes well-written and is presented in an orderly fashion.

Feeling like a potential victim, one of the main concerns of working at home are the all-too-common scams that pervade the online job market. Even after having spent time doing some research, it's difficult to know who to trust in the cyber world. A huge time saver, this book provides the information and resources necessary for finding legitimate work without the worry. For anyone seeking work at home, this book comes well recommended.

I offer my thanks to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for this digital edition in exchange for an unbiased review.
