Flora is a ladies maid to Constance. When her father tragically dies Constance has to go to New York to live with her Aunt until she comes of age. Constance wants Flora to go to America with her on the maiden voyage of the much talked about Titanic no less. Poor Flora has a boyfriend she sees on her days off and she is torn between embarking on the opportunity of a lifetime and staying with her boyfriend. She opts for the chance of a lifetime and, well we all know how the Titanic’s maiden voyage turned out.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced read copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Rosie Goodwin does it again.Another magnificent saga which is what we expect from her and boy she does not disappoint .
Set between London and New York with the Titanic in between it is richly evocative of the era with thwarted love lies and deception all in the mix.
Once you start you just can’t put it down
Love it

This story as an amazing cast of characters that you really feel for going through emotions as they do. A great plot.

Was a bit slow to start which is very unusual for this author after Connie and her maid leave for New York on the titanic the story really picks up after a tragedy occurs which sets in motion a series of events that bring together three girls who survive many obstacles before they all find happiness in different circumstances enjoyed the different characters who collectively make this readable overall a good read

I was given a copy of A Maidens Voyage by the publisher for an honest review. I have read other books by Rosie Goodwin so I was excited to read this one, I was not disappointed. It tells the story of Flora a maid for Connie. When Connie is sent to America on the Titanic Flora decides to leave everything and everyone she loves for an opportunity to travel with Connie. Flora is a very likable character and I enjoyed every moment of her journey. Rosie is a great story teller and I enjoyed this book from start to finish. A must read.

The next book in the days of the week series. Flora has a good job as a ladies maid to Connie and she’s also falling for Jamie who she sees on her day off. Going out for the evening ends in tragedy for Connie as an accident leaves her alone when her father dies. Connie has to go and live with her Aunt in New York until she comes of age. After persuading Flora to go with her they go off on the Titanic unbeknown what lays ahead. There are lots of ups and downs in this story that grip you along the way.

I love Rosie Goodwin’s books. This one is no exception. A good story, with emotion and interesting history blending fiction with fact. A nice, easy read that provides a complete change to psychological thrillers which is my other go to type of book.

Another well written book by this author
My only complaint would be that it is too predictable. Saying that it is still worth a read

Another beautifully written story by Rosie Goodwin.
Flora is a lady's maid to Connie and circumstances lead them to travel on the Titanic. We know this can't end well and Flora finds herself alone in a strange city. She makes a life amd friends there but in her heart hse misses her family and her one time beau Jamie. Does Jamie still love her and can she ever find happiness?
There a few too many coincidences and obvious storyline, not a good read

Flora is a ladies maid to Constance, when Constance's father tragically dies Constance is to be sent to New York to live with her Aunt Alex, Constance doesn't want to go by herself so asks Flora if she would be willing to go with her.

Flora struggles with the idea of leaving her family and boyfriend but it's a chance of a life time and also to travel on the maiden voyage of the Titanic, what could be more exciting!!!

When the Titanic sinks Floras life is changed forever and she survives but is living a lie, can she live with the deception!!

This is a great story with a lovely mix of characters and a feel good factor story, but it also has lots of dark areas which makes this story much more interesting to read and keeps you hooked, well worth a read!!!
