The story of Daniel Gunn, Willa Markson and toddler Bobby , is a sweet touching , though at times heartbreaking story. Willa, Bobby’s nanny has traveled to Texas to deliver Bobby to his uncle Daniel. Bobby’s parents have been killed in an accident and Daniel is his only relative. A native Texan that never felt she belonged there, Willa is determined to return to NYC to pursue her dream job. But life and fate interfere.
As we read the story, we realize it’s a story about obligations, unexpected surprises, two seemingly different individuals whose one aim is to take care of a young orphaned 2 year old, and about how goals that might be the only ones one wants, can be changed . Giving the individual a new and better goal and future.
A story worth your time.

I gotta tell you, Willa almost made me doubt that this would have a HEA. I loved, Home With the Cowboy. I thought this was a great collaboration between Jackson and North.

Neither Willa nor Daniel were looking for love but it found them. It caught Daniel off guard and when he laid his heart bare, she up and went to New York leaving him nursing a broken heart and taking care of two-year old Bobby, who was not familiar with him as his uncle.
What's great about about this story is how everyone around Daniel got involved in making Willa feel at home. I loved that. Any romance reader would devour this read, thanks Netgalley for the eARC.

Touching book about a small boy who is left in the guardianship of his cowboy Uncle - Daniel Gunn, When Daniel's brother passes away and the Texas girl turned New York girl Willa Markson who is young Bobby's Au Pare.
In helping Daniel adjust to life with a two year old feelings bloom, although Daniel hopes it's enough to keep Willa from returning to New York.

It’s usually when you aren’t looking you find love... or rather it finds you!
Willa moves temporarily to Texas with her little charge, Bobby, to bring him to his uncle. Once she is satisfied that Bobby’s Uncle Daniel is able to care for the toddler, she’ll return to NYC where a long-awaited job in her profession awaits her. But the best laid plans go awry and both Willa and Daniel must decide where their hearts truly lie and to what lengths are they willing to go for love.
