I'm sorry that I can't review this book, but I only have a Kindle available to read from and this download isn't compatible. If you wish to send me a physical book I will guarantee a review. I can be contacted at Sue@thebookbag.co.uk

I’m sure this a lovely book ,full of amazing recipes which I would have adored and shared with many. However I can not open the pdf which is a shame.

Today’s cook is looking for more ways to make cooking at home faster and easier. The days of running through the drive through on the way home are slowly disappearing as we learn how this contributes to our obesity epidemic. Right now every cook is interested in three hot small appliances in the kitchen: slow cooker, air fryer, and pressure cooker. However, non of these are as intuitive as stove or oven cooking, so cookbooks like “The Crock-Pot Ladies Big Book of Slow Cooker Dinners” come to the rescue.
First of all this book is Big. Recipes are available that can truly meet the needs of most families, with a nod to cuisines of several cultures. Instructions on how to use and care for a slow cooker are included with lots of tips and hints. Even recipes using bison and venison are included.
If you are new to slow cooking, almost any kind of meal is included, with a slight bit of repetition, such as multiple forms of ribs. This gives the home cook a very good idea of what a slow cooker can do. Of course slow cookers are made specifically with cooking meat in mind, so the majority of the recipes do rely on meat. Although I was impressed with a section on meat free main courses. In addition, it is noted that slow cookers are not the best option for fish or seafood.
To me, the best part of the book is the dozens of dessert recipes. These sound very tempting and I can hardly wait to try the creme brûlée.
If there are negatives to “The Crock-Pot Ladies Big Book of Slow Cooker Dinners”, I would say it is a shortage of photos, and lack of direction for the cook looking to avoid canned beans, soups, etc. But, many cooks using the slow cooker to make life easier will find plenty of ways to build their own prepared freezer meals to pop in when life is hectic, giving them totally from scratch meals.
As families move back to home cooking and cooks rediscover the convenience of slow cooking, “The Crock-Pot Ladies Big Book of Slow Cooker Dinners”. has the potential to become a core cookbook in their collection. In addition, the authors are bloggers to be followed online as they keep experimenting and creating.

This cookbook was thorough, but I don't feel it gave anything I haven't seen on Pinterest. If someone were to never have been on Pinterest before, then this book would cover just about everything! I did enjoy how simple the recipes were written though. It was very simple to follow.

This book wasn’t to my liking. It was full of recipes but nothing me or my family would eat sadly. The recipes were well written with good explanation on how to cook. I prefer more pictures on cook books

Fabulous recipes with wonderful tips! Can't wait to try these out! I thoroughly enjoyed reading through this cookbook and tabbing recipes to try. I love that they're all relatively easy and most are great for a budget !!!
