Thank you to Netgalley for a pre publication copy. In return for an honest review! #meetmeatpebblebeach #netgalley

Reagan works in pharmaceuticals and does anything to pass the time of day at work including playing pranks on her friend and colleague Alex. Until one day he takes it a step too far..... she's won the lottery! Will this make or break Reagan? Can she make a life worth living or be pushed to edges of despair?

The amount of recommendations I've had for Bella's books I knew I must try one and when I saw the summery title and cover I decided this would be the one to start with!

This book is a great romance read. Although their are some emotional subjects included in this book such as homelessness, fatal accidents, crime, cancer and feuds amongst other things. I do not feel this takes away from the romantic feel of the book but really allows Bella to increase the sudden and unexpected twists and turns within the plot. Whilst making you laugh out loud and cry at the same time!

I love Bella Osborne’s books. This one made me laugh out loud and cry. A really enjoyable read and storyline which pulls at heartstrings. Kept me guessing to whose car it was (without giving away any spoilers for the storyline) and it wasn’t who I thought it would have been. Lots of twists and turns making you want to read on. Thank you for accepting my request, and I look forward to Bella’s next book.

Regan's life is a mess--well, to be fair, Regan is a mess. She's perpetually late, she's accident-prone, and she just doesn't really have it together. Also, she's kind of lazy.

"Regan opened a bleary eye and tried to focus it on the alarm clock. 'I've got loads of time.' She harrumphed and pulled the duvet over her head. The work do the previous night had been dull so she'd drunk more than she intended to.

'But I thought you were taking Cleo to the airport?'

'Shiiiiiit!'

So, you may ask; what, then, would be the point of a character like this? Well, Regan spends the majority of this book fixing herself. Not for others, but because she has realized how much she needs to change.

However, the catalyst for all this is because of a prank-gone-wrong. One of her co-workers--as an act of retribution for what he thought was a prank--convinces Regan that she won the lottery. So, within minutes, Regan dumps her live-in boyfriend and quits her job. So now she has no job and no place to live.

"'Jarvis. Our relationship has run its course. I'm sorry but I think it's for the best. I won't be coming back tonight.' She'd already decided that she'd book herself into the Grand Hotel for a few days while she worked out her next steps."

Enter Charlie. Charlie seems about as put together as anyone could. He is clearly interested in Regan, but not in a creepy way. He seems to genuinely want to help her.

It doesn't take long for Regan to see the need for her to make something of her life.

By the end of this book, I very much more appreciated Regan and her journey. I was also incredibly touched by the story arc of Regan and Charlie.

This was a cute read with a great message. You're never too old to change... And, it's never too late to hope.

I heard so many wonderful things about this book and had enjoyed the other two books of Bella’s I had read that I couldn’t resist picking this one up.

Meet Me at Pebble Beach is a wonderful read that is feel-good and is full of hope. It is also a book to easily get lost in.

Regan is the lead character who dumps her boyfriend and quits her job on the same morning after ‘winning’ the lottery. Except it’s not what it seems and she actually ends the day homeless, jobless and without a boyfriend. Enter Charlie, a local fireman, who opens Regan’s eyes to the opportunities these events can lead her to.

Charlie walks into Regan’s life at the right time, for both of them. Charlie is all too aware of making the most of life and encourages Regan to make the changes to her life so that she is living it to her fullest.

I felt like I connected to Regan from the start and was therefore hooked on her story and seeing how it unfolds and how she develops as a person. Charlie brings warmth and encouragement to this story and is vital to how Regan moves forward. The relationship they build and the effect they have on each other is heartwarming and moving.

This book is fun, heartwarming, feel-good and motivating. A perfect summer read.

We should all learn something from this book; life is too short to be doing things that make you unhappy. I certainly feel like I’ve come away from reading this with a new perspective.

This was my first book by Bella Osborne and it won’t be my last.

The story begins with Regan, who is having an awful time in both her personal and professional life. Things couldn’t get any worse could they?

Things get even more complicated when she meets Charlie, who is instantaneously attracted to, but for reasons I can’t share because I don’t want to give any spoilers, they can’t be together.

I love the relationships that Regan forms with others and the friendships forged. They weave into the drama that she finds herself in and as a reader we are taken on an emotional rollercoaster.

Having read this book, I’ll be picking others up by author.

I couldn't finish the book. I got stuck and after that it felt like an enormous burden to keep reading. It simply wasn't my book..

Pros: the characters were lovely and well written - my heart broke over Kevin and Elvis (definitely the best character in the entire book)
Cons: not sure where pebble beach comes into it. There was too much going on - there were like 6 things happening and although I like Cleo, her side story was unnecessary. Also the whole storyline with Alex was a bit weird
Overall: although there was a lot going on, it was mostly a good book with everything coming together at the end

Meet Me at Pebble Beach by Bella Osborne

Regan’s life is falling apart. She’s lost her job , broken up with her boyfriend and find herself homeless. This story follows her journey.

The story contains many colourful characters, some very poignant moments, tragedy and humour all reflections on life.

Beautifully written and very true to the character of Brighton. Something I enjoyed because I am a former Sussex resident.

Note to any future reader this book was originally published in parts and feel you are best to read complete series at once. I have read 1 part and obviously the full novel and feel you miss such a lot of the ethos of the novel otherwise.

Fantastic, chic lit at its best. This is a brilliantly written story that captures you from the first page.
Highly recommended read.

I’ll be honest that it took me a while to get into this book. It felt quite tedious to start with but I slowly started to warm to it and I enjoyed it in the end. Regain was a really good character and I enjoyed seeing the developments between her and Charlie. Quite a few sad moment3 throughout this book, but it’s balanced out with a couple of laughs as well. It won me over in the end!

Having heard so much about this book I couldn’t wait to read it. The first I’ve read from Bella, but I’m already looking forward to the next. Didn’t want it to end and hope there’s a follow up.

Though I did find the heroine to be very touch-and-go throughout (sympathetic one scene, unnerving the next), this was a nice tale throughout, with the remaining cast of characters well fleshed out and distinctive enough to make an impression. I couldn't stop laughing because the boyfriend is so much robot-like at the start, and him being named Jarvis, all I had was the image of Tony Stark's AI from the Marvel Universe. It's a good one - not the best of Ms. Osborne, but it's good to while away the hours on a lazy afternoon

Having never read Osborne before, I was glad to read this latest book on vacation. A perfect beach read, it gave the perfect balance of plot development, intriguing characters, and vivid imagery. WIll seek out some of her other titles.

This is without a doubt a feel good summer read... it’s exactly what it says in the cover. A lottery win says goodbye to the old and in with the new. You’ll laugh, cry and smile. Perfect

A riotous, fun read. This story has several sub plots but it doesn’t feel cluttered as it’s easy to follow and very entertaining. The scatty heroine should get on your nerves but actually she’s down to earth and loveable with a heart truly in the right place. Entertaining and laugh out loud funny at times. I defy you not to fall in love with Elvis. Great read. A definite must this summer.

Thank you Netgalley
