Catherine Gray is a fantastic writer and I've enjoyed every one of her books. This one presents Catherine's positive tone and good advice. It gives the reader useful and fun information and it carries a very important message – there is nothing wrong with being single. It's something we should celebrate too!

I enjoyed this - very easy to read and life-affirming. I sometimes wondered whether the author protested a bit too much about the joys of being single - but when most media seems determined to convince the singletons that if you're not in a couple then you're missing out on all manner of marvellous things, maybe a (single) woman on a soapbox is what we need! Catherine Gray really does highlight how, particularly if you have the right friends, being single doesn't mean missing out on anything at all.
