I saw the wonderful cover, the reference to the Seeker series and my brain went gaga and I didn't' remember I already requested/read/reviewed this book.
I can only confirm what I wrote the first time I reviewed this book: It's huge, a wonderful historical mystery with great characters and a great reconstruction of the historical setting.
I loved the main character so human and so well written and I loved the way the cast of characters was described.
The storytelling is great and it makes you feel like you're there in the same space/time with the characters.
A great discovery that makes me wish to read the other books in this series.
Highly recommeded!
Many thanks to Quercus Books and Netgalley for this ARC

I love this series – it just keeps getting better and better. Damian seeker is a brilliant character and the personal upheavals in this book add a different kind of depth and poignancy to his arc. As usual, this instalment is replete with well researched and pleasing historical detail, set against the backdrop of Cromwell’s rule. The plot has plenty of twists and turns and I genuinely didn’t see the ending coming. Highly recommend this entire series.
