I loved this book! It's well-written, enjoyable, and a great read. Sue Roberts did a great job of writing in a way that captures the readers attention, and makes you not want to put it down until you're finished! I would recommend it!

This book missed the mark for me. I love this author and have read many of her books but I was a bit bored with this one and the characters did nothing for me.

I received this book from Netgalley in return for my honest opinions.

I had trouble downloading this due to my kindle email address because it changed without my consent and some of the books didn’t make it onto my kindle.

What a fun book! It’s a great summertime romp in Italy featuring three British women with a fresh take on the romance/finding yourself genre. The characters are realistic and the author goes a beautiful look into the real Italy, beyond the touristy places. I’d love to go back and revisit the characters. It sort of reminds me of the Shopaholic books.

A delightful story full of fun, flirting, friendship, and food! Sue Roberts is brilliant at bringing the settings of her books to life. Once again I got to take a wonderful vacation to Italy from the comfort of my couch. Sue Roberts really gives you a vacation in a book!

Excellent book with a clear cut depiction of characters. The storyline is fluid and constant, and my concentration never waived. Highly recommended.

Lovely feel good summer read. What’s not to love sun sea and sadly ur reading about it instead of living it. Easy to read and flowed well. Perfect summer book

Loved this - fun and an easy read - perfect holiday book if you’re looking for one! Great characters and not all story lines revolved around being part of a couple.

This book title has been changed to You, Me and Italy

Sue Roberts may be a master of “travel romance”. Her novels set in beautiful locations inspired by her travels mix scenic views, ethnic foods, fun and love for light hearted beach reads. You, Me and Italy follows Maisy and her friends Cheryl and Emma as they embark on a Tuscan adventure. The trip couldn’t have come at a better time. Following the demise of Maisy’s marriage, she has finally won one of the many contests she enters. A weeks stay at the beautiful Villa Marisa and a few shots of limoncello are just what the doctor ordered. Oh, and some dashing Italians may help heal a broken heart as well.
With beautiful descriptions of food and landscape You, Me and Italy will transport you to Tuscany. A few too many coincidences take away from the novels credibility and it could have been a bit more PG-13 in the romance department. Roberts doesn’t fully exploit one plot point that could have raised the stakes and provided more action in the novel, but still it’s a delightful tale, perfect for summer reading.

A lavish summer in Tuscany

3.5 Stars

This book definitely makes you want to spend your next vacation in Tuscany. With the elaborate accounts of Maisies visits to Siena, Pisa and Florence, the book could almost serve as a travel guide. And food guide as well, since plenty of Italian dishes are described in detail. This creates a great atmosphere of a lavish Italian summer.

Unfortunately, for me it also made the story feel rather factual instead of emotional, with Sue Roberts enumerating Maisies every move, thought, place she goes, thing she eats and people she sees. For me it was a tad overdone.
Also, it was a bit too smooth sailing for Maisie as well as her friends when everything fell into place so perfectly. I was missing a bit of an edge, a realistic touch (and the accident is not what I mean here).

With that being said, I still enjoyed reading about Maisies holiday under the beautiful Tuscan sun!

My Summer of Love and Limoncello was a cute quick read and perfect for a mindless read. It was light and easy to read, but didn't have significant depth to it to warrant a high rating.

Thanks to NetGallley and Bookouture for en eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Fantastic read. Sunshine just beams from the pages! I finished this in record time. Easy to immerse yourself in and enough plot fluctuations to keep you reading. The location just sucks you right in! Highly recommended. It’s one of those books I wish I could read for the first time again.

Thank you NetGalley

*Book provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review*

Maisie had it all: a great job, a loving husband, a house etc. But then she walks in on her husband cheating. Her life changes from one second to the other. Luckily she wins a holiday to Tuscany and takes her two best friends there as well.

The surroundings are great for her and she gets distracted. Also by a local farmer called Gianni. Can her broken heart be fixed?!

Even though Maisie went through a lot in this book and her story was full of ups and downs, it kind of seemed too good to be true at times. The book is very predictable, but still very enjoyable.

My favourite thing about this book was definitely the setting. I love Tuscany. I have been there so many times and I knew lots of the places. It was like going home. The atmosphere really came through and I really want to go back there now.

A romantic, warm and funny story, with the perfect setting and a fantastic holiday read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

These are the adventures of Maisie, Cheryl and Emma, who get to spend a lovely holiday in Tuscany, courtesy of Maisie, who is in dire need of a change of scenery. These three girls are very different but they complement each other really well. If you don't get a sudden craving for Italian food after reading this book, you are a stronger person than me! I also wanted to try limoncello :)

The descriptions of the countryside and the food are eloquent and the story of Maisie and her friends is very relatable. I thought this book might be a bit of a standard chick lit but it isn't really. It is down-to-earth and modern and even though there are some romantic scenes, that isn't the focus of the book. It is more about figuring out what you want in life and going for it, helped along the way by friends and family.

A really relaxing, enjoyable read.

4.5 stars from me.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture.

Brilliant read, a book I didn't want to end! A failed marriage, a summer break, an accident, job in a winery.....and Italian love interest. What's not to like?
