Just tremendous. Truly wonderful writing capturing the premature birth of the authors twin daughters and their terrifying first few weeks in intensive care. Incredibly moving and inspiring, love and friendship oozes from every page. Love for her daughters, her husband, the wonderful hospital teams and the friendships made through the very darkest of days.

The title of this book made me think that it was going to be a space chronicle! That couldn't be further from the truth.

This is the story of twins born prematurely from the point of view of their mother, in diary form. It covers the time spend in the NICU and the SCBU at two different hospitals.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tale of courage, of parenting and of premature babies weighing 600g at birth. The trials and tribulations parents go through and the fight for life that these babies have beggars belief and to defy the odds and come through it is a triumph indeed.

I laughed, I cried and I definitely now look at parents of premature babies in a different light. A fantastic book whether you have had a premature baby, have children or are childless - highly recommended.
