Dinner in a Dash is a great book for anyone who wants to make more use of their brilliant Pressure cooker - like me. I try to avoid cooking meat at home but do sometimes cook a meaty meal if I really fancy the look of it, and there are a lot of tasty-looking meat-based recipes in here - in fact I'd say most of the recipes are meat-based. However, it would be fairly easy to make simple swaps to ensure that many of these recipes are veggie.

The book is laid out clearly, with different sections for the types of recipes - eg. wraps and sandwiches, pasta and noodle dishes, grain rice and bean dinners etc - so it's easy to find a recipe based on the type of recipes you want to use or are in the mood for. I'm really glad it doesn't have a whole section on breakfasts and desserts - two parts I always end up skipping through in recipe books, so it's a welcome omission here!

I do miss the photos for each recipe, as I find it helps me pick which I fancy, but the lack of photos here means you need to read the recipes a little more closely to work out what you want to cook. However, it saves space and means they can pack in more recipes!

I've tried the White Bean Chili with Poblano Topping, the Spaghetti pot pasta (with veggie mince instead of beef) and the Wild Rice Pilaf, Dried Apricots, and Edamame which was great as it was a dish I'd never have thought to do otherwise. I've got a lot of other recipes I want to try soon too, including the Seafood Biryani and the Sweet Thai salmon. A neat little recipe book that is perfect for anyone looking to create some quick, hearty meals with their pressure cooker.

DASH or Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension is a healthy diet designed to help people with hypertension and cardiac issues. In this cookbook, you will find 75 easy-to-cook recipes that will surely delight your palate and heart. What I love about this cookbook is that it is well-written. The ingredients are easy to find, and the cooking directions are easy to understand. One thing lacking is images since I am used to reading cookbooks with lots of beautiful food photos.

As someone who loves to cook and was gifted an instant pot for my birthday this year, I can really appreciate this cookbook. If I am being honest, you would probably say that I am a cookbook snob. However, this cookbook is well laid out. I love how the recipes are not difficult and with easy to find ingredients. This will be going on my to buy list now.

"Dinner in a Dash" is full of 75 easy to follow recipes. I liked that most of the recipes included easy to find, common pantry ingredients. This cookbook made me want to go out and finally buy a pressure cooker.

A great book for people just starting out with an electric crockpot or instant pot. I just got one for Christmas but due to being between house moves I haven't had a chance to use it yet, however I have been collecting recipes for it!! I love any recipes that are impressive, healthy and tasty but easy to pull off, and Dinner in a DASH has it!

My husband and I very much enjoy this cookbook. I have made a few recipes and we enjoyed all of them so far. I also bought the book in the physical copy.

This is a fantastic book for people wanting to improve their healthy eating- it provides information on all nutritional elements. There are lots of delicious sounding recipes and surprising imgredients in some that make them sound so tempting to try. It even includes desserts which sound very good. I would love to buy a physical copy of this book for my kitchen book shelf.

Kurze, knappe Übersicht, warum man diese Zubereitungsart wählen sollte, nebst einfacher Darstellung von abwechslungsreichen Gerichten.
Für Anfänger geeignet, für Fortgeschrittene gibt es allerdings kaum Überraschungen.

Excellent easy to follow recipes that are excellent for hypertension management. I liked that the recipes included easy to find, common pantry ingredients. I liked my ARC so much that I purchased a hard copy!

A good book full of healthy recipes for the Instant Pot. It has full nutritional info for each recipes, and has a wide range of great-looking ideas for everyday meals. It doesn't have photos, which I know is a negative for some, but I don't think that detracts at all. Just awaiting my Instant Pot, as I have been inspired to buy one now!

I had received an instant pot as a gift and had no clue what to do with it. This book was fabulous and helped me to be able to make some things in my pot. All great recipes and I look forward to trying more

This is a nice cookbook featuring the DASH diet with some pressure cooker ideas and more. It gives some details along with a variety of recipes of other items too such as sandwiches, salads, stews and more including nutrition facts.

This book is full of beautiful and simple recipes that can be made in an instant using your instant pot or pressure cooker. There are recipes to suit all tastes.

I liked the recipes in this cookbook a lot. I found them easy to follow and many recipes I liked. I would have loved actual pictures of the dishes just becuase I like to see what I am making. It's somtimes how I decide what I amd going to make. We choose by sight a lot or at least I do. I appreciated the calorie etc. counts at the bottom of each recipe as that helps me keep on track. Overall good cookbook and I would recomend to a friend.

To begin with this cookery book is only useful if you have a pressure cooker. It contains 7 chapters of recipes from wrap fillings, soups, dinners and desserts, which are written for the DASH diet (dietary approaches to stop hypertension) which as the author states those that have heart disease, those at risk or want to avoid - which is all of us!

The author goes on to explain the three main nutrients required and which are the best foods to provide them and reducing sodium intake.

The steps and ingredients listed are well written with both metric and imperial measurements, but there is no colour photography to show you what anything looks like. Each recipe also contains all the nutritional facts just like you see on the side of a jar or tin - super helpful.

This book offers recipes that conform with the DASH diet. My doctor recommended this diet a while ago but I just didn’t know where to begin to change my eating habits. Here, the author provides the reasoning behind the DASH diet and how it helps us to be healthier. The food can be made in a pressure cooker. It contains recipes for everything from wraps and past dinners to vegetables and desserts.

This is my kind of cookbook. Eating good food which happens to be beneficial that are cooked in a pressure cooker pot which is all the rage right now.

This is a really nice cookbook all though it is not for me. Almost everyone of the 75 recipes in the book have peppers of some sort as one of the main ingredients, and almost all of them also have a spiciness to them. I cannot eat eat peppers or spicy foods due to stomach issues. Other than that it is good. The recipes sound very tasty. I love that the book has the nutrition chart for each recipe. I do wish there were some pictures though. I love my Instant Pot and am grabbing pretty much every recipe I can find, which is why I chose this book when I saw it on Netgalley. I am giving it a 4 star rating even though I cannot use many of any of the recipes because the book is very well put together and each recipe is easy to follow.
