Fun, intriguing, super interesting and different than other stories.
The general idea you could say is like something you would find on a sitcom but it is definitely very well delivered and the more you read it the more you want to know what's going to happen.

This is a beautiful little gem of a book that reads like Fawlty Towers set on Douglas Adams' Starship Titanic. It is a drawn out comedy of errors that manages to balance madcap situations and multiple outlandish characters into a brilliant narrative which - albeit a bit long at times - dovetails nicely with the protagonist's emotional journey. Definitely one to pick up if you enjoy character driven stories told with wit and a bit of poignancy.

Quite a fun read, an updated comic romance in a sci-fi setting. The tone set with a mention of Jeeves early on, if I remember correctly! A young man fails to have enough money to pay for his interstellar cruise and has to try to work for a living solving all the ridiculous problems of the other passengers, which include missing iguanas, broken musical instruments and missed romantic connections. Not as accomplished as Wodehouse, but a pleasant book that should entertain a wide audience

A humorous, but not hilarious scoff novel. It begins near the end of a relativistic voyage on the Einstein 4 when Jeremiah is told that he has no money to pay for the trip. He's assigned to work in Guest Services for the last week of the flight. That means he takes care of guests' problems.

And problems there are both big and small. The eccentric passengers and crew, the absurdity of the situations, and Jeremiah's bumbling attempts to solve them make for a delightful light novel.

What can I say? I didn't find it funny enough to call it an enjoyable read. I think he was going for "let's be the new Connie Willis" but the comedy of errors thing just didn't come off for me. Other readers may go for it so don't take this as an absolute by any means.

The gist: a guest on a space cruise can't pay his bill so he has to work off his bill. This includes helping guests with minor issue but also "event planning". Oops, a guest needs some sort of show put on. Take it from there.

Humor is tough to write effectively, but the author pulled it off. Great tech mixed into an interesting premise and plot, made this fun read. Recommended.
