Due to a passing in the family a few years ago and my subsequent health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for years after the bereavement. Thank you for the opportunity.

I liked Both of the " Anarchy" novels by Jack Rochester. The premis is fantastically unique.. This historical tale based on real events is very interesting to learn about.. Rochester's knowledge and experience, during these times contributes immensely to the realism of the books. I definitely enjoyed it !

This story was situated in the years of 1969-1970. Unrest throughout college campuses, particularly about the Vietnam War, was rampant. Discord among the police with particularly the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and their Weatherman faction was well known: the events at Kent State being one of the hottest issues. Radicalized former and current college students, some of the ex-military and others joined in to bomb and/or create chaos - largely on college campuses and major cities in America.

The more peaceful protesters depicted by Nathan, Jane and some college professors used writing to express their unrest. Although this peaceful method was much more sensible, those who utilized these methods were in danger of radicals pulling them into their web.

This story is particularly interesting to those, such as me, who were in college or a bit older during those turbulent times in the United States. Actual demonstrations and places that were targets of the Weathermen and their factions were brought to light in this provocative read.

I thoroughly devoured this book in one sitting and I expect that this Historical Fiction story will satisfy readers of many genres.
