The story of Alex and Val. Alex is a cop and Val is a private investigator. She would have been a cop too, if Alex hadn't gotten her thrown out of the adademy.
When he is arrested for the muder of the woman Val was hired to tail, he needs her help. Is she willing to forget the past and help him out?
A fast paced story, which takes place over a few weeks. The more time they spend together the more they open up to each other, but will they find the real killer?

Looking forward to the rest of the books in this series.
