This is the second book in the series. After finishing the first one, I was excited for this one's release. We got answers to the questions left over from the previous book and those were quite satisfying. Our beloved couple is doing their best to save their world. Can't wait for more!!

The story didn't really hold my attention. It's not terrible, but I am not inspired to read the next book in this series.

I wish I could say that I love the sequel as much as I did the first book. While I appreciated the many details provided by the writer in the first book, I thought the details given in the second book was a bit too much.

I do like the fact that some attention was given to some of the characters like the two priestess and the falcon. Perhaps it is the writer’s attention to expand the world of Tiamet and provide the readers more dimensional to the main characters and the people around them. While I do like these ‘extra bits’, I don’t find them particularly interesting which as a result, forced me to skip some of their stories.

The ending of book 2 drove me a little crazy. Who is that woman at the end????

Since there will be book 3, I still hold some hope that Lord Anshar will come through. What happened to him was pitiful. He is too cool of a character to end up like this.

Sometimes you're just in the mood for a good steamy romance. I really enjoyed this because it was different (in a good way) than your typical romance. The gothic side of me loved the darkness and environment. It was pretty much what I expected out of a romance book, which isn't a bad thing. I definitely would recommend this series to others who enjoy a good romancey time.

I enjoyed this second book and I can't wait to read the end of the story between Halea and Varg. I love they way they are together and the way Halea cares about people, that she finally feels at home with the pack and I hope in the end they will have their own family in theis dream's house on the trees.

Better than the first book, but I still struggled to stay interested or care about the characters involved. Sorry but still not really for me.
