This was a delightful story about farming families in Northumberland.. When the farm starts to struggle, Rachel and her mother turn into entrepreneurs and start making family recipe puddings to produce extra income. and the enterprise gradually snowballs.. Some great characters , a dishy neighbouring farmer and a lovely storyline, with the ups and downs of life in general and the special circumstances of a farming family. Great read!

This book was so cute.
I love the books that are like this and this one was no exception.
Rachel's Pudding Pantry was such a cute read and I would REALLY like to visit Rachel's!

A ⭐⭐⭐⭐ delicious read.
I thoroughly enjoyed Caroline Robert's latest release, the downside I was left very hungry without any form of pudding in the house. Keep snacks to hand when reading, you will need them.
The slow-burning tension between Rachel and Tom was great, I was left rooting for Rachel to see what was right in front of her.
The only gripe I have was the story was there were frequent time hops in the story, there to jump to the next part of the plot, whilst they might have been seamless, the number of times it happened stuck in my head.
All in all a solid read and would prompt me to pick up Caroline's future releases.
My thanks to #HarperImpluse and #Netgalley for giving me an advanced copy of #RachelsPuddingPantry for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book
The author was new to me but I liked the look of the cover and the description
It was a nice easy read describing a set of strong independent women who work hard and survive
Well written

I'm not a big rom com fan to be honest, but I did enjoy this book, as it's not soley focused on romance. Rachel, the main character is a farmer in Northumberland (not far from where I live to be honest!). After suddenly having to take over the farm from her father, she is trying her best to keep it going, whilst living with her mum and young child.
Rachel realises that they need to do more than just farm if they want to keep it running, and does she have time for someone in her life?.....I'll leave it there...
This is a lovely book - great to take on holiday, easy reading, and enjoyable

Great read although you will start craving cakes and puddings. First book from me of this author although I do have others of her waiting to be read.
Review posted on good books, link below and review pending on Amazon

Farming, baking, romance, craft, great characters - what's not to like? This is the second book I've read by Caroline Roberts, and it didn't disappoint. Whilst she writes of comfort food - gorgeous puddings, descriptions of which made me want to go off and bake - her writing provides comfort for the reader. Just the book to curl up with and while away a few hours. I believe there's a sequel - I can't wait!

Thank you Netgalley for a review copy – this book was devoured in a day.
This was the first time I’ve read a novel by Caroline Roberts. There are some very sad parts to the story (especially poignant when you have lost a family member in the same way) but there are also lots of happy moments too. I loved the community feel to the book, and of course, the puddings all sounded fantastic (this reader has a sweet tooth). I’m looking forward to reading more novels by Caroline.

A fast read that talks about family, love, grief and finding reasons to be happy!
Rachel’s Pudding Pantry is a story about Rachel, who is a farmer in the modern world, living with her mum Jill and her little daughter Maisy. Rachel and her family has been dealing with a lot of grief in the last couple of years, and are struggling financially to keep the farm running.
The one thing that glues this family together, and keeps them happy is the baking and the making of lovely sweet puddings. They bake all day, especially grandma Jill, and they are the perfect example of what a family should look like – full with joy, love and laughter.
I loved the personality Rachel has;
She always puts her family in the first place, cares about her daughter and mum so much. Everything she is doing, she is doing for them, and she is always positive minded. It was such a refreshing moment for me to find such character.
Rachel and her mum are dealing with grief, losing a person in their family that meant a lot to them. This moment of sadness can be felt throughout the book, and I loved it. It shows that grief is a constant battle – it is not easy to lose someone you love, and you don’t get over it very easily. Years could pass, and you will still have the emptiness in your heart. I felt this on my skin, when I lost my grandfather in January. Even after three months, I still think of him every single day, and hope that he is looking over me and is proud of who I have become.
I was also very positively pleased with the other supportive characters surrounding Rachel’s story. Tom was the perfect neighbor – the one you always call for help and will always help you when you need him. He is always caring and trustworthy, and sometimes, I felt awkward when Rachel always came to him for help. Knowing myself, I would be so embarrassed to keep asking for help.
Then we have her best-friend Eve. She was my superhero, and a friend anyone would wish for. She was always supportive, always there for Rachel with her never-ending love. It is a priceless relationship these two ladies have, and I couldn’t help but be a massive fan of them.
The only thing that kept bothering me throughout the book, and is not that big of a deal anyways, was the fact that despite their financial struggles, Jill kept baking for like thirty people every single day (this is before they started the new business). If that was me, I wouldn’t bake that often. I guess it was a fact that just stuck with me for a while.
Even though it is not my usual read, I honestly really enjoyed this book. I am seriously considering giving this genre more time, and reading more books similar to this.
It was a quick, pleasurable read. It always made me feel happy and content, and eager to go in the kitchen and bake some sweets. Because I am a lazy one, I just bought sweets and ate them instead. Tell you what – that also works quite fine!
Thank you to LoveReading UK, Caroline Roberts and HarperCollins Publishers for giving me an early copy in exchange for this review. All my opinions are my own.

Such a gorgeous read .. and with a cover to match!
Rachel, a single mother, has the added responsibility of running the family farm and keeping it afloat. Things are hard in the agricultural world, and she needs to come up with new ideas to inject some much needed cash flow into the business. Then an idea occurs to her - can they possibly cash in on her mother's baking skills? Would it be enough to generate a much needed extra income? And why do all her friends gush over the attractions of Tom, a neighbouring farmer who Rachel sees as no more than a friend?
This is a really lovely read. Encompassing all the difficulties of life in the farming community, the story is well conceived and skilfully crafted. The writing flows smoothly, and the entire book is a delight to read. All the sweet treats on offer sound mouth-wateringly good, and the recipes at the end are an added bonus. Caroline Roberts has created a wonderful, feel good novel. Even better, there is a sequel in the offing towards the end of this year, and I'm already looking forward to catching up with both the inhabitants of Primrose Farm and the wider circle of the area's community. This is a good, solid and entertaining read to which I'm happy to give a full five stars.
My thanks to publisher HarperImpulse for my copy via NetGalley. This is my honest, original and unbiased review.

I recieved an early preview copy of this book in return for an honest review.
I was first drawn to this book by the lovely cover, and secondly, the title, I love boohs about food, especially cakes and puddings.
The book starts off with Rachel struggling with life as a farmer, on the family farm. She is increasingly reliant upon help from Tom, a neighbouring farmer.
There is reference to a recent family tragedy, and Rachel is the person who is being relied upon to keep everything going. Rachel realizes that the farm could be lost, and she needs a new venture to bring more money in, hence the title, Rachel's pudding parlour.
This book is a really good read. You can't help but feel sympathy for Rachel as she is struggling to keep the family farm going, while also looking after her Mum and Daughter.
The characters are realistic and the book is well written. It is a heartwarming story, emotional in places , and you can't help hoping that everything works out for Rachel. I really enjoyed this book, and I was pleased to see that there is a sequel out for Christmas, which I can't wait to read.

Very pleasant romance with the feel good factor which flowed well. It took a while for the pudding pantry came to fruition and at first seemed to be a farming novel but puddings arrived. Would have been nice to have recipes of the puddings

Amazing read and book from Caroline Roberts. I love her style of writing and characters. I also love short chapters in books and this delivered on that front as well. The story follows a single Mum with her daughter and her Mother living and working on a farm but struggling to cope financially. So we see the ins and outs of living on a farm and the community around as well as a love story that develops. Easy to get into, easy to read and easy characters to relate to. A good 5* from me.

Oh how I have been looking forward to reading another mouthwateringly delightful novel by the lovely Caroline Roberts! After absolutely falling in love with her other novels, especially The Cosy Christmas Chocolate Shop, I couldn't wait to get stuck in to another one of Caroline's fabulous baking stories. The cover is stunning and I love the bright colours, the main character in the middle and the beautiful looking sweet treats dotted around the kitchen! It's quite simple but it works really well and completely draws you in.
The novel starts with Rachel working hard during lambing season, it's clear from the very first page that Primrose Farm is her life and she adores where she lives, but it's also clear that Rachel and her family have suffered a terrible loss. The novel mentions quite a bit about Rachel's mum Jill 'finally getting back to her usual self' and how happy Rachel was about that. It was a lovely, relaxed start to a novel actually. What with Rachel working all hours during lambing season and it was nice to get a feel of the location - which sounded absolutely idyllic might I add - so I was looking forward to reading about where this story goes.
Rachel seemed to have been through a lot, especially with her daughter Maisy's father and I had a bad feeling about him from the start! However, despite that, there's such a lovely heartwarming feel-good feeling to this novel. And the more I read the more I fell in love with the story and the location. Reading about Jill and Rachel's bakes made me so hungry and made my mouth water! They sounded so delicious and I love that each chapter has it's own scrumptious sounding title!
The story really got started once the Pudding Pantry came to life! I loved reading about their days there and all of the puddings once again made my mouth water. I really enjoyed reading about Rachel and Tom too - and their blossoming relationship. It was nice seeing them go from friends into something a little bit more. Tom was such a lovely character and after reading everything that Rachel went through with her dad, I was rooting for them! Rachel and her family desperately needed a Happy Ending - and I thought that Tom was the right man to give it to them.
Overall, I throughly enjoyed every moment spent at the Pudding Pantry with Rachel, Jill, Maisy and all the other lovely characters! This novel is unputdownable, heartwarming and beautifully written. This is possibly my favourite Caroline Roberts' novel to date! I urge you to give this novel a read, it's perfect for the looming summer days. Thank you to the publisher for a chance to read this novel via Netgalley, which I have reviewed honestly.

This book is utterly delightful especially if you like pudding. The characters are all likeable and we'll written and the story is charming.
There is family life, love, heartache, loss and romance all glued together with sticky toffee pudding and cream. For me, with my love of pudding totally brilliant, uplifting and a pleasure to read.

Firstly, I would like to thank Harper Collins and Emilie Chambeyron for all her hard work organising the blog tour and amazing treats that came with the book proof. I would also like to thank the amazing Caroline Roberts who I have been lucky to have an interview with for this blog tour, since reading her tea shop in the castle series I have been hooked and she is a firm favourite author of mine.
Rachel's' Pudding Pantry is an unbelievable read and one you will really want to devour all in one go, if books had an actual taste to them then this book would be pure heaven. It is quite literally full to the brim with tasty treats and puddings.
Rachel, her mum Jill and daughter Maisy live on Primrose Farm. The descriptions of the location in this story are perfect. You can really tell that Caroline loves this part of the world, which she talks about in her interview alongside some photos. I really felt like I was riding along on the back of the quad bike wellies on or sitting enjoying a picnic in the sunshine with the hills rolling out in front of me. You could quite literally hear the squeals of fun from Maisy mixed with the barks from Moss their farm dog.
There have been some hard times on the farm for the family and they are in need of an income boost. When a gem of an idea begins to take hold in Rachel's head she just knows that she cannot let this one go, it has to work. The Pudding Pantry is born, along with a few added lambs to enjoy this spring. With the local community, even the unsuspecting grumpy ones, and her family and friends, including the handsome Tom, behind her Rachel starts a new adventure and a tasty one too, and I am not just talking about the puddings here. I can just imagine Rachel blushing at this point while her friend Eve asks if she has had any crumble recently. Can the farm survive? You will jut have to read and find out!
Caroline has a special way with words. She is able to create a special moment in time when you open the pages to her book. One where you can completely escape to and when you surface you feel you have woken from a very pleasant dream. I can still now remember the way I felt reading The Cosy Tea Shop series, warm and cosy and like I had just stepped into a perfect world full of hope, love and friendship and this is exactly what Rachel's Pudding Pantry has done.
This is a read that is not to be missed. It is simple a perfect calorie free treat.

A light hearted read which warns the heart. It makes you want to visit the Pudding Pantry and meet the characters. Recommended for a cosy read with a cup of coffee and a delicious pudding.

certainly wont be the last of Caroline Roberts's books I read. Really enjoyed this book and was very excited to hear there will be a follow up at christmas time.
could relate to each of the characters and felt I read this book quick as I wanted to know what happened and can't wait to read the follow up.

We can all dream and this is what I love about a great story. I escaped to Rachel’s Pudding Pantry. I fell in love with the farm, it brought back great memories for me being a farmers daughter, it reminded me of my relationships with all my family and finally the happiness and the journey of falling in love.
Rachel lives and runs her farm with her daughter Maisie and her mum Jill. She needs to raise money to keep the farm afloat. This is their story, told with totally believable characters, heartwarming and enjoyable, a must read.

I couldn't get enough of this book and took every opportunity to read it.
From the first page with the words 'golden light ablaze over the vista of the Cheviot Hills, the sky above filled with cloudy trials of mauve, grey and orange' I was watching the sun set in Northumberland in my mind.
A family tragedy means Rachel has had to run the family farm with her Mum Jill and is a single Mum to Maisie aged 5. Times are tough and therefore Rachel has to think of ways to increase the income and because Jill makes wonderful puddings the idea of the Pudding Pantry comes to mind.
This story follows the running of the farm and the Pudding Pantry, with puddings that sounded delicious and had my mouth watering. In addition there is Tom, the neighbouring farmer who Rachel has known all of her life, dependable, handsome and supportive but can Rachel see past the friendship to something more?
An absolutely delightful read that I would very highly recommend.
