If he doesn’t call after a date, don’t assume he’s just not that into you!

I really enjoyed this and would highly recommend to my girlie mates. Smart and sweet.

I thought this book was going to be a fun, sweet chick-lit read. It's more of a thriller. It's still an enjoyable read but not what I was expecting.

Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

This was a cute read with some stalker-is kind of behaviour from the main character Sarah, with a dark past, who met Eddie, spent time with him, and then he didn't call.

My first read by Rosie Walsh and I was so shocked. I thought it would be a chick lit, but it turned out to an emotional read with some unexpected twists. The characters had their own tale to take, some were shocking.

Certain parts were slow, but I didn't mind as it gave me time to stop crying. Overall a beautiful read

Whenever I read a blurb of a book I find myself picturing how it will probably go, this one surprised me from the beginning to the end. I expected a book about ghosting maybe even mystery, what I got was a beautiful, heartbreaking story about awful past events, fate meetings and forgiveness. Sarah and Eddie's story was full of twists, sad, frustrating, cute and at times shocking. But it unfolded into a beautiful, touching storyline. This is one of those reads I would recommend for a nice cozy night (maybe have some tissues around if you're like me who cries easily).

This is a wonderful book full of twists and turns , with a main character you really root for, even when her behaviour borders on the extreme. She goes through a lot and her past is heart breaking. It’s a wonderful story, well written and a great slow burn read

This is one of those stories that you have to read to the end to fully appreciate. The main character, Sarah, is very complex but well written and with a heart wrenching past that she still hugely struggles to live with. Her week spent with Eddie sounded idyllic and I can fully comprehend her heartbreak and confusion when she failed to hear from him after however her behaviour afterwards could easily be construed as borderline stalker-ish. The situation makes much more sense as the book progresses, yes the story is far fetched but there are real life examples of ill crossed lovers. Once I’d got a full understanding of the situation I hugely enjoyed this, if you’re not sure at first this is definitely worth preserving with as overall it’s a fantastic story

I loved this book and I am gutted that I’ve finished it. The story is beautifully written and the characters draw you in quickly. For anyone who likes Me Before You, you’ll enjoy this book. It is more than worthy of 5 stars.

Sarah meets Eddie and they spend the next seven days together. By the end of this time Sarah has fallen in love and she is certain that Eddie feels the same. After the week is over, Eddie leaves to go on holiday and promises to phone her on his way to the airport. He never called. Sarah’s friends tell her to forget him but Sarah is certain that something has happened and there is a reason for his silence. When Sarah finds out his reason she has no choice but to accept it....
A quick read with believable characters. It took me a little while to get into the story but then when I did, I found myself turning the pages quickly until the very end. A very good read.
Many thanks to Pan Macmillan and Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I found myself conflicted about this book, on one hand it was gripping and addicted and on the other I hated the characters - Sarah in particular seemed to me as unstable. The way she becomes so intense as a woman in her mid 30s doesn't quite ring true. Nevertheless i enjoyed this story.

This was a touching and wonderful story which I did not expect. For some reason when I started reading the book, I expected the story to focus on one meeting between the characters in the book and for the story to be less involved and moving. However as I got into the events in the story and got to know the characters - Sarah and Eddie, I realised that this was a story about much more than a chance encounter.

The Man Who Didn't Call tells the story of Sarah and Eddie who might by chance and quickly form a connection. After spending a short time together and parting promising to keep in touch, they each go back to their own lives. However Eddie does not make contact with Sarah as planned and she begins to get worried and soon realises that Eddie is not who she thinks he is. As the story progresses, we learn that both Sarah and Eddie came to the relationship with their own histories which by the end of the book, do form a link. Without giving too much of the story away, the events which unfold in the story are moving and the ending is bittersweet. You hope that things will work out for the characters involved having journeyed with them throughout the story.
Overall I strongly recommend this book to anyone who has not read it. The writing flows well and Rosie Walsh ensures that you care about the characters in the story in her descriptions of them.

I decided to start reading this book on Saturday morning. I was going on a long car journey and knew it would pass some time.

I must admit, to begin with, I found the flowery writing and the excessive descriptions hard work. I noticed my concentration drifting and considered stopping reading. However, there was an undercurrent to this book, a feeling that something great was about to happen.

I am so glad I never quit. This book had me hooked, the rollercoaster journey experienced by both Sarah and Eddie was fantastic. The relationship between them real, raw and so believable.

I usually find myself predicting storylines in the romantic fiction genre, after all, the majority end up with a happy ever after ending! However, the twists and shocks in this story came out fo the blue for me and I loved that!

I would thoroughly recommend this book to others.

This book has an intriguing premise and is very well executed in terms of the mix of information with which we the readers are presented so that we gradually uncover layers of the story and the differing possible outcomes of single catastrophic events. The characters are engaging particularly the protagonist and the ways in which the author chronicles her attempts to make sense of seemingly inexplicable events keeps you turning the pages. I did though begin to drift as a reader when the story took convoluted turns in the second half. I think the complexity if character portrayal was sacrificed a bit to the artifices of the plot.
Overall a good read by a very competent author but not a book that I loved and will remember.

Really enjoyed this book. Not your conventional mystery or love story. Characters are well developed throughout and you find yourself investing in them and their stories - even outside the two main characters. The themes of loss and identity resonate strongly and the story telling is well crafted by the author.

This is one story that I thought I would love, but sadly I just didn’t connect with it. I tried to finish, but found myself skimming through the story. I know there are lots of people who love this book, so don't be put off by my lack of enthusiasm, maybe it's just not the book for me.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the early review ebook.

Sarah has met Eddie and he is the man of her dreams. Then Eddie goes on holiday does not come back no answer to his phone and his friends are not forthcoming. Sarah can’t understand it and she is madly in love.
Maybe Eddie is a total tool without the backbone to say I don’t want to see you anymore or is something more sinister happening?
Clues are given to the reader along the way I had ideas of some things but did not guess everything. I felt the pace of the book was good it kept me interested for a start. I loved Sarah’s friendship with others for example Tommy
This was a nice easy read I would recommend it as perhaps a beach read.

This was a difficult book for me as I found it to be very slow to get started but I must say that as it went on I was glad I stuck with it as it's such a fab story. Definitely an author I will be looking out for in the future!
