I never felt the romantic tension between the characters, even though Walsh provides a few vignettes that showcase the romance over that seven day period, and I felt that the development of Sarah and Eddie’s relationship is simply non-existent. I could care less about whether or not they got together and the air of mystery keeping them apart just made me more frustrated.
The writing also threw me off; I couldn't get in the author's rhythm and found myself bored and skimming paragraphs, everything at the end started spiraling and ended up being way over the top.

I wasn't sure how to feel about this book to start with. Once it emerged that he was ghosting her for a 'reason', I was slightly disappointed as with ghosting being prominent it is in our online dating society I kind of wanted the mystery of why he had disappeared to continue. Then I found myself crying at the ending and totally invested in the story. A fantastic read.
I prefer the cover they are using for this book in the US, but I still loved this book.

Brilliant. I thought I had the book worked out early on, yet the twist took my breath away. Very well written, some genuine smiles and left me feeling good. Is it perfect? No, it’s clear to see where it takes inspiration from, but this is no bad thing. It’s the perfect book for chilling with on a sofa night, or taking on holiday. Would recommend.

Ghosting plays such a huge part of modern online dating that I was looking forward to reading this book. While the story is interesting, I did find parts of it slow and it took me a while to really care about the characters.
