I can’t wait to read this book. I was privileged to get just a small piece of w2hat is going to be the summer read of 2019. What happens when your boring everyday book club gets 1 uninvited guest? And what happens when that guest starts a game that brings forth all of the secrets of the neighborhood. That is exactly how this book starts and unfortunately that was the only piece I received. I’m now on the edge of my seat waiting for Never Have I Ever by Joshilyn Jackson to be released…..July 30th cant get here fast enough.

Well it’s just not fair that we only got a few chapters! This was so good I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to find out what Amy’s secret is and why Roux came up with this messed up game so it would come out.

So far, this a SOLID FIVE STARS!!! Yes, it is only an extract, but isn't that what it's supposed to be? A teaser for the entire book. An entire book that I CANNOT wait to finish!! I already love books with settings full of bitchy frenemies in small towns and I am so excited to learn more about Roux and Amy! Right up my alley and on my Must-Buy List! I was devastated when i realised that this was only an extract. This novel had me engaged from the first page, and I cannot wait to get my hands on this book to continue reading it. With a Gone Girl vibe, this story centres around a new woman on the block, a book club, and a different twist to the game Never Have I Ever

I really enjoyed this extract and I’m looking forward to reading the full story. I’ve read great reviews and it sounds like my cup of tea, I love a good thriller.

Neighborhood book club gone wrong... I was hooked from the beginning. This had secrets, lies, love, evil, friends, family and betrayal. It really has a bit of everything. It was fast paced with excellent writing and an overall easy read. It had a great mix if characters whom some you loved and others you loved to hate. Secrets are revealed through the book so there was never a dull moment. The book also had plenty of twist to keep you guessing. I loved it!

Fantastic start to a novel. Great building of suspense throughout. Leaves the reader wanting more. Will definitely be looking out for the full novel

I'm a big fan of Joshilyn Jackson and I've read all of her books but this one may be the best yet! Her writing style is compelling and unmistakable. I can't wait to find out Amy's past and how Roux is connected.

I’m hooked after just the first chapter! This book has been on my TBR list for months now, and August can’t come soon enough.

Very excited after reading the excerpt and think this will be one of the best thrillers of the summer. Let's hope the August weather is as hot as the plot was. Looking forward to reading more that's for sure!

I am so bummed that this was just an excerpt. The storyline really pulls you in and has you wondering more about Amy's secret.

I'd forgotten that this was just an extract so I got to the end of the chapter and thought, "Wait! You can't leave me hanging like that!" But apparently you can! Now I'm just biding my time waiting for this book to be released as it had me hooked from the beginning!
