The God Who Fights For You is a book first and foremost about a God who cares for our everyday lives. It doesn't look the same for everyone, and often occurs in the normal every day. We don't always see it immediately, and so The God Who Fights For You looks at these moments in various circumstances and through various anecdotes given through friends and family.

Worth a read if you are interested in what the God Who Fights For You looks like.

I received an ARC of this book from Harvest House Publishers via NetGalley, this review is my personal opinion.

Rick Lawrence used Simon Peter the apostle as his inspiration as to how God works in our lives, from the prelude of this book you can see this is a great book and I must say I am still digesting some of the truths expressed on this book. When he mentioned about asking God for the name he called us, wow. That was powerful and unexpected. This book represents a challenge because all do we know that trials are part of life, none want’s them. Rick Lawrence show us in this book layer by layer, how we are not alone in those moments of trials and how there is always more than just pain. His upfront honesty and humility on sharing painful and hard times of his life and other friends. And how at the end God always knows what is in our hearts no matter how hard we try to hide from Him. This book is like a brize especially for those moments when we just simply don’t know how to continue. From facing old hurts, painful situations that we may think are solved, as to know more of how satan acts. But most of all who is the God that fight for us, I believe that this book it’s kinda like a process to go deeper and face ourselves in front of God just as we really are, with nothing to hide and after the shifting, we could become who God wants us to be.

Truly grateful to Harvest House Publishers for the ARC of this book.

When you are suffering, it may feel that God is far away. In this book, Rick Lawrence will teach you to know Good again, be too see that He is on your side and He is working through your trials.

He showed us how God has been working for people all through history. From the beginning, He has loved us and has a plan for us.

He wants us to win!

I love seeing how the old testament is not passe but still alive and encouraging. Thank God! He has always been fighting for us and continues to do so.

This book was really helpful at reducing the loneliness one feels in the midst or aftermath of suffering. It was sound theologically but also comforting. I would highly recommend it to anyone struggling and feeling as though God is far away and unreachable.
