It's great to be in a position to recommend much more diverse books to our young people at school. Building the senior school library as a place where students actually come and find books that they want to read as opposed to books that teachers think they ought to read is an important responsibility and one we take really seriously.
Books like this are such a positive move as they will appeal to a broader set of readers than we are usually attracting. Dealing with modern issues in a clear and captivating way with a strong narrative voice and characters that the students can relate to is critical as we move forwards. This book is both an intelligent and compelling read that will hold even the most reluctant reader's attention and keep them turning the pages long into the night. It keeps the reader on their toes and ensures that you give it your full attention too. I found myself thinking about its characters and events even when I wasn't reading it and looking forward to snatching kore time with it and I hope that my students feel the same. An accessible, gripping and engrossing read that I can't recommend highly enough. Will absolutely be buying a copy for the library and heartily recommending it to both staff and students.

I received a digital arc of this from netgalley in exchange for an honest review. For the first half of this book I was completely drawn in and couldn't put it down. The premise is brilliant and it's only to be expected that Tessa would want justice for her daughter. However I did figure out who was sending the emails etc pretty early on - the only slight surprise was how far that person was prepared to go. All in all a pretty good book but for me, no unexpected twist. The pace of the book slowed down around the half way point too.

Stop at nothing is an incredible psychological thriller that had me hooked from the first page . Tess is a mother of two girls desperately trying to keep her head above water whilst simultaneously coping with all life is throwing at her. Divorced from husband Phil , being made redundant as an editor of a women’s magazine and the break down of her relationship with her elder daughter Rosie all of these impact Tess, who loses confidence and self esteem as her life implodes around her. Tessa is now a freelance journalist beginning to get back her life with her main focus being Em her youngest, who still lives at home with her. One evening on the way home from a party Em is attacked by a stranger, who attempts to drag her into an alley, thankfully a passerby sees this happening , raises the alarm and the attacker flees before anything too sinister takes place. The Good Samaritan, called Frances, brings Em home as Tessa was not replying to any messages, unfortunately this incident happens the one night she decides to take a sleeping tablet to break her cycle of insomnia. Despite there being an eye witness, neither Em or Frances are able to pick the attacker out of the line up. However, Tessa, with support from Frances and the description given by Em, begins to fixate on one of the people they see in the lineup and decide he is the attacker and he needs to be stopped. At the same time Frances seems to be the only person in Tesla’s life who is listening to her and believing the fear she has that this ‘attacker’ needs to be outed, shamed and imprisoned, despite the police assurances that she really needs to move on and drop the matter.
This was an incredible read and a roller coaster of emotions from fear to excitement and heartache to joy. This cleverly crafted narrative goes in directions you cannot predict allowing the reader to peel away the many layers and lay bare the tale to its conclusion. This is the first novel I’ve read by this author and was so impressed by the writing that I will definitely be purchasing her previous titles.

A parents worse nightmare. Makes you think just what you would do to get justice for your own child. A really page turner. Gripped me until the end.

A really gripping book that sadly for me dropped off towards the end and I predicted the ending which is always a disappointment.

Another great read from Tammy Cohen! I loved the way it built up and had plenty of twists and turns. I'd class it as more of a domestic drama than a thriller but it was certainly full of tension. Great twists towards the end too - didn't see it coming!

Unfortunately, I have not been able to read and review this book.

After losing and replacing my broken Kindle and getting a new phone I was unable to download the title again for review as it was no longer available on Netgalley.

I’m really sorry about this and hope that it won’t affect you allowing me to read and review your titles in the future.

Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
Natalie.

Future readers I'd scrap the thriller classification for this book - whilst it absolutely is thrilling in places and packed with tension, for me it was more of a family drama, a story of obsession, fear, love, loss and a mother's fight to bring her daughter's attacker to justice whilst struggling to see who was really on their side.

As always the writing is spot on and the plot is tense and despite being frequently frustrated by her actions I really felt for Jess who is still struggling from her divorce, still estranged from one of her daughters and as well as knowing more about the attacker I wanted to know what had caused her former life to crumble so badly.

I really enjoyed this book

This was a highly engaging thriller filled with red herrings and plot twists.

When a young girl is attacked, her inability to identify the attacker causes her mother to become obsessed with finding justice. Thinking she's identified the killer, she stalks him, but what if she's wrong? Will her desire for justice blind her to the truth?

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC without obligation.

This book was very twisty and led the reader into various directions, A girl is attacked on her way home but cannot identify her attacker. The person who befriends and helps her directly after her attack is welcomed into the family home but is this all that it seems? The mother of the girl then becomes obsessed about a man who she thinks is the attacker. She stalks him online and in person. Is she right? Will she stop at nothing to prove this?

I really enjoyed this. It was nothing like I imagined, and left me gasping until the last page. Fantastic read and deals with some really gritty topics. Brill

I am sorry to say that I reallystruggled with this book. The story itself was interesting but it was sooo slow and depressing to read. A young woman is attacked and her mum takes matters into her own hands to find the guy that she thought did it. I found some of the things that the mother did really unbelievable and kept screaming out to het to stop. Others have talked about the twist at the end, but perhaps it is just me when I say that I did not find it a twist, in fct most of it was quite obvious and not a little tedious. sorry but not my favorite read.

Stop at nothing by Tammy Cohen
I give this book 3.5 stars.
There’s nothing she wouldn’t do to make it right . . . but what if she makes it all worse?

A story of a middle aged mothers love and the lengths she goes to, to protect her children despite her own life falling apart and a splintered family.Tess's daughter gets attacked on her way home, neither Em or her rescuer Frances identify him from a line up,so Tess takes matters into her own hands to find and make him pay! But things start going wrong who is responsible.
Although l enjoyed reading this book and finding out the author had taken the idea of the story from her own personal past experience it wasn't a page turner for me. I couldn't take to Jess the main character and found some of the things she did over the top. That being said l loved trying to work out who the person speaking in italics randomly throughout the book was and how it tied into the story, also didn't guess the twist right at the end.
If you enjoy a family thriller with no dead bodies invoved this book is for you.
Thanks to Netgalley for the chance to read my first book by this author.

Tammy Cohen is becoming the go-to-girl for edge of the seat thrillers. The cover is amazing, and the story had me unable to put it down. Highly recommended for thriller fans.
