I adored this lovely farm book as it is beautifully illutrated but also as I lived on a farm for 7 years when I was born. A delightful children's educational book I recommend to anyone with kids and to teachers. A must-read!

TONS of information and great pictures. A great book to teach kids about all things farm life. Plus, it comes with 3D cut outs that you can build and put together!

This is a perfect book for your little farmer. The illustrations are bright and lively while the text is in small sections that are fact filled. Some of the topics included in these colorful two page spreads are The Food on Your Plate, Growing Crops, Farm Animals and Tractors and Machines. The amount of information packed into this book is impressive. And then...for more fun, there is a farm set that you and your child can build together.

This is an entertaining book that teaches a lot. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this e galley in exchange for an honest review.

Really enjoyed this book, and think it would be a great resource to have in a school setting. Incorporates learning about the farm through reading, oral language and play. Would recommend to any parent or teacher.

I adore this book. It is wonderful for young children with and interest in farming, tractors or animals.

The pictures are wonderful to hold their attention while you read the text.
Full of interesting facts and details.

The parts that you build look brilliant and i can imagine it being great fun for small hands to play with.

I will certainly consider giving this as a gift.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. all thoughts and opinions are my own.

My six year old loves everything farm. This book would definitely pass muster. It has more information about herding and other types of farming that we don't have around us in rural USA. He would love to make the models in the real book too.

This is a fantastic book about all things farm! It is suitable for a variety of ages - starting with pre-school and going up through lower elementary grades. What sets it apart from other books on this very popular topic is the actual amount of information that it presents. It touches on things like crop-rotation and biodiversity - which is not a typical find for this age range. These complex ideas are brilliantly explained in very simple language, so it gives just the right amount of sparkling curiosity for further investigation!
This book includes a variety of text features to discuss with the kids as well. It has labels, captions, non-traditional page layout (perfect opportunity to discuss where to start reading and how to proceed through the page), headings, and a glossary!
In my opinion, this book is a great resource for both content (fun!) and text feature learning opportunities! I would highly recommend this book!

Cute, colorful and engaging. Lots of information about life on a farm. I could see using this in my classroom to teach about farm life.

Cute interacting book with detailed story line based on farm life. Sure to grab the attention of born and raised farm kids to kids who can only imagine and daydream what it’s like to live in the country.
