Not my usual type of read but it was an enjoyable romp with such sweet characters, difficult not to fall in love with them. I had contemplated retiring to Florida but am now having second thoughts as the murder rate is so high in small-town America :)
Second in this series and I didn't enjoy it as much as the first, didn't sparkle in the same way. Still a good mystery with good characters and interaction between them.
Sara Medlar, Kate and Jack were not going to get involved when Janet Beeson was found murdered by poison, stabbing and shooting. The residents of Lachlan were not having that they trusted this trio to solve the murder for them. When the doorbell keeps ringing in the middle of the night Sara, Kate and Jack better take notice. There are too many suspects in this town and the motive for the murder runs deep. Not everything is as it seems and it will need all your deductions to follow the clues to the conclusion. I was given an ARC of this book by Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
