This is funny, unpredictable and romantic. Thaddeus is romantic, charismatic, sweet and funny. Priscilla is strong, cheeky, stubborn and vulnerable. Koffi is demanding and amusing. Thaddeus is looking for "The ONE", but while he's looking he's decided to help the wallflowers and others by dancing with all of the ladies who lack dance partners. Priscilla is just biding her time, staying as inconspicuous as possible, until her 25th birthday. She will receive a trust fund if she is not married by then, and she desperately wants that money so she can chase down her father and grandfather, who are adventuring and have stayed gone her whole life. But after Thaddeus and she have an amusing conversation, and he keeps pursuing her for more conversations, she starts to really like him. They become friends, and find that they have much in common, and the more time they spend together, the more they want the other to be "The ONE". It has some very witty dialogue, and is full of dry humor. This is my favorite of the series so far, it should be added to the top of your TBR list. (the whole series)
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.

Erica Ridley always manages to make you fall in love her characters in this book is another great example. Thaddeus Middleton is looking for a wife who will want him for him as a man not just his money. He meets Priscilla Weatherby who will inherit a fortune provided she remains unwed and with no scandal attached to her name. So far so good until she meets Thaddeus and they are instantly drawn to each other. Thad is everything she would want in a husband, he’s sweet and kind but is she willing to sacrifice her independence she so desperately wants. Your instantly drawing into this book and these characters and you really want them to fall in love but also keep true to themselves. It’s a wonderful well written book, with the right amount of love and passion. I loved every minute.

A buy buy book...
I had to really think about the review before writing this one. A novella ... one by an author that is extremely talented. However, it took me a little while to get into the story on this book. I almost went three stars. Then all of a sudden everything changed! This delightful little addition to the series captured me and swept me away. I had to give 4 stars instead of five because it took awhile for it to really get my attention. As usual the author writes a funny wonderful romance that is full of life and enjoyment. So buy the book and sit back and enjoy. I shall keep looking for more from this author as she has a way of entertaining her readers. I was given this ARC via NetGalley All opinions expressed here are my own and completely voluntary.

So cute! I adored Thad and Priscilla! Thad was so sweet and I loved that he wasn’t a lord or super rich. I also loved how much he loved love! It was a refreshing change from the dark brooding hero who runs from love. Priscilla was sweet and I felt sad for her. I loved Koffi and Wednesday too. An enjoyable read!

One Night of Passion by Erica Ridley is the third book in the Wicked Dukes Club series that she is cowriting with Darcy Burke. The first two installments included "wicked" gentlemen who were friends with Thaddeus Middleton. He's looking for a wife who sees past his money. He's a nice guy who wants love and happiness. He's so deserving of having his dreams come true.
Priscilla Weatherby is almost old enough to put the marriage mart behind her, collect her inheritance and explore the world as she wishes. She's done a good job of hiding in plain sight until Thaddeus takes notice of her. She keeps denying that she feels anything for him in return, but it becomes increasingly difficult to say.
When you've dreamed of something you're entire life what does it take to make you willingly abandon those dreams for something that could be so much better. Something that could be shared...
Well, read One Night of Passion and find out!

I absolutely loved this book. I couldn't put it down wish there was more to their story even though it ended at a good place.

I didn't care for the characters as much as in the previous (One Night of Scandal) but they were different than the usual regency cookie-cutter characters and for that I am grateful. Still enjoyed the story and would like to read more by the author.

One Night of Passion is a fun and engaging Regency historical romance filled with interesting characters and is so much fun to read. I enjoyed the banter between Thaddeus and Priscilla. I loved this book and I'm looking forward to reading more adventures from the Wicked Dukes Club

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Oh how I loved this book. The characters were relatable and made me root for them. Parts were heartbreaking, parts were funny, all of it was great!

ONE NIGHT OF PASSION is the third book in the Wicked Dukes Club series. Though each will stand on its own, there is a lot of reference to the former matches and I would recommend reading them anyway – they are all five crown reads.

Thad doesn’t have a title or need one. He wants true love. He believes in The One and believes everyone deserves their one. Sigh! He wants a happy-ever-after.

Priscilla believes that if she just has her independence, she’ll be happy. So many of us live our lives with this premise. If I just lose 10 more pounds, I’ll be happy. If I just get that job, I’ll be happy. If I just get a different man, I’ll be happy. She isn’t whining. She isn’t looking for someone to save her. She is making a game of forcing fate towards her goals. She has made lemonade of the lemons life has given her, for now. But then Thad happens. I won’t spoil a moment of it by telling you a word of that. Just know that I think every word of it must be read.

Sweet and romantic from beginning to end, this is the story that can’t be missed.

Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

I was so excited to get an advanced reader's copy of this book. I loved Erica's previous book in this series and have been looking forward to Thad's story.
I wasn't disappointed. This story was just lovely - on every level.
And the best (or most unusual, depending on how you look at it) thing is that it's the exact opposite of most romance stories.
Thad wants to get married. He wants a wife, a family, and to settle down. Priscilla doesn't want to get married. She wants to travel the world and have adventures in far off places.
Both of them have to make some drastic changes to their long-held plans for the future.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this and I'm looking forward to reading more of Erica's books in future.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Those Wicked Dukes are such fun and yet the man in this story is just a plain mister. Thad seems like such a nice fun loving guy and Priscilla is just so mean at first! She doesn't want to lead him on and plans to make it to her birthday so that she can get her inheritance.

I loved that Thad just kept trying and being nice and was patient with her. Priscilla kind of drove me crazy as she kept wanting to go on an adventure with her father and grandfather. She was clueless that these "adventurous men" were really selfish and were not waiting for her to grow up and join them.

So glad when she finally opened her eyes and saw the truth and what she was thinking of giving up! Looking forward to the next book in this series!

Welcome to the third book in The Wicked Dukes Club. It is a page turner that will have you hooked by page one. Although a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. Thaddeus Middleton, is just a plain "Mister" and looking for a wife. Miss Pricilla Weathersby is a wallflower not looking for a husband. When they meet, friendship begins that turns into passion. What happens is sooo enjoyable to read. The secondary characters are well developed. There’s a kitten and a parrot who will steal you heart if not already stolen by Thaddeus. This is a wonderful series that you won’t want to miss. Erica Ridley writes the odd numbers and Delta Burke writes the even numbered books. I received this from NetGalley and am voluntarily reviewing. I glad give this five stars and highly recommended this and all by Erica Ridley.

This is the third book in the Wicked Dukes Club Series but it can be read as a stand-alone. Thad wants to marry but not just someone interested in his money. He meets Priscilla who isn’t interested in marrying at all. What will happen when sparks fly. Fun, entertaining historical read with plenty of drama and great chemistry. The characters are so much fun and the story is really entertaining. I liked it.

Another great book by Erica Ridley. So glad I found this author. I have loved every book I have read so far! Loved the story of Thaddeus and Priscilla! She thought she wanted adventure through travels. That is all she had ever dreamed of. But after spending time with Thad, could he convince her that love was the best adventure there was?

This was another enjoyable book by Erica Ridley. The two main characters Thaddeus and Priscilla were entertaining. The grandma was funny and I must not forget the parrot who was a delight. This book should be read by anyone who likes historical romances which is not hard to read.

A beautiful story! I loved that Thaddeus was the one looking for a wife and a love match. He was so romantic and lovable. Pricilla’s grandmother was a pip! I couldn’t believe the suggestions she made and the allowances she gave this couple. I couldn’t put it down vicariously living Thaddeus’ hopes, joys and pains.

Thad and Priscilla were a fun couple to read. Their story was all that it should be. Two people looking for the person that would complete them and the two of them trying to figure out what that would look like. Sometimes as in Priscilla's case, it isn't always what you think it should be. I couldn't put this book down. A great read.

I will freely admit that I fall just a touch in love with every hero in the stories that I’ve enjoyed over the years. I flat out tumbled in love with Thad. He is a romantic who simply wants to find his one true love. He is kind, even to small helpless animals, a gentleman in every sense of the word and simply a gentle giant of a man with a heart that could so easily be broken.

Priscilla is an independent lady with a grand plan, to remain unwed, avoid scandal at all cost and never fall into the trap of love for everything she holds dear is on the line should she stumble one little bit. She has the chance for complete independence, to travel on adventures beyond her wildest imagination — but should she be tempted to fall in love and marry she will lose all that she has worked toward. Love. Independence. The two become a war in her heart and mind when she encounters Thad. Now she has to make a choice or take the chance of losing the one man who would fulfill all her dreams and beyond.

ONE NIGHT OF PASSION has to be my favorite Regency Romance of 2019 (so far). This is pure romance, decisions that will change futures and a love that is worth the risk. I’m not going to spoil it for you – but, if you love a romance that will touch your heart and linger in your mind long after the final page then you need to pick up this book right now. I’ve enjoyed this entire series, and expect to continue doing so – but Thad and Priscilla are a very special couple and I hope you’ll want to discover their story for yourself.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
